This is a one of kind experience. The Single Fin Cafe is an opportunity to get some great food, and get a glimpse into all that the surf and skate industry has to offer in one location. The menu is tasty, and you will find yourself wanting to come back for more on a regular basis. The Single Fin has a healthy choice of favorites, or just come in and enjoy the selection of coffees and craft beverages they have to choose from. After your meal take a walk through the Waterboyz complex and see the owner, Sean Fell making surfboards through viewing windows in the surfboard show room, check out the amazing selection of surfboards on a balcony overlooking the indoor skatepark, watch some of the areas best skaters skate the pool, or have a seat in the upstairs lounge to watch the latest surf or skate video. Then head down stairs to shop the surf shop for everything from shoes and sandals to a souvenir Waterboyz tee. There is also a very nice paddle board room, and full service skateboard counter to custom build a board to your liking. A great place to take guest from out of town for a unique Florida experience, Bring the kids to skate the skatepark, while you enjoy a cold beverage and great meal at The Single Fin Cafe. My experience last Sunday was typical of what anything can happen during a busy Sunday brunch. Our food came out an hour and a half after we ordered it. I probably know what happened. Ticket got lost, we shared the same table number as our friends so there might’ve been confusion over that, it could’ve gotten overlooked, stuff happens. All of these things are possible and don’t really make me as mad as I was that day (I can’t say I wasn’t mad cause my food took long I was starving). The one thing that really upset me was the lack of acknowledgment, accountability, and apology we got from staff. My partner asked after about 50 minutes where our food was and was told it was on the grill. Total lie but all good. It’s a lie to cover and actually get it started. Another 25 goes by before someone comes to our table and asks what we order. We eventually get our food shortly after. I understand tickets get lost during a busy day, but zero acknowledgment and apology was really rude and poor customer service from staff. Doesn’t even have to be genuine but saying sorry can go a long way. Food was good and I enjoy the plethora of vegan options.

Cafe Single Fin has delicious food and drinks—one of my favorite places to get a dirty chai latte in Pensacola!

Atmosphere: Located in the Waterboyz Surf & Skateshop, the cafe is located on the left-hand side of the space and has a cozy nook feel to it! The whole place is of course themed surfing and skateboarding with decorative pieces all on the walls in the space. A lot of the time they have live music being played by local artists! Service: You order at the counter, and then they bring the food out to you! The ordering process is smooth with menus set up at the front when you first walk in. Menu items: I’ve been getting their Sunzal Tacos for years! They’re so flavorful and pair well with an acai bowl. I get their Ala Moana bowl (blueberries, strawberries, banana, and granola) as well as their Shorebreak smoothie (almond milk, blueberries, strawberries, and banana). Their Dirty Chai Latte is one of the best I’ve had in Pensacola; it can be hard to make it taste just right, and they do such a great job with it! The food and drinks never disappoint!
