Look I honestly get it, no food establishment likes to get orders when they are about to close. But if you close at 9 pm and in my situation, you called twice around 8 pm to make a call in order and no one answers then you walk in to continue to hear the phone ring and see that the two associates are purposely not answering the phone, then that’s a problem. But back to my review. I walked in around 8:15 ish and instantly felt the negative aura and energy. The female associate was AGGRESSIVELY RUDE and uttered numerous times that she “would never work nights again”, I literally was sitting and waiting for my order to be complete and all I heard was the associates complaining about getting late orders. The female associate constantly made remarks regarding “her feet hurting”, that “she didn’t expect “all these orders as they were trying to close”. I’ll repeat again they PURPOSELY were not answering calls just so they wouldn’t have to make anymore sandwiches. They were even getting online orders and out loud were saying “It’s 8:30, we’re not taking anymore orders”. Management ,it’s one thing to complain to another coworker in private but I WAS LITERALLY HEARING EVERYTHING AND THEY WERE NOT TRYING TO WHISPER. The female associate also said “I used to not care when I wanted to eat late, but now I see so many people doing it tonight, I have no idea why someone would want to eat late” and this is where it really made me cringe, “the female associate also said “Now I see why people abuse prescription drugs” like what does that even mean,? What was she referring to? The way these associates were complaining and complaining freely when a customer was there is just disgusting and I warn everyone who sees and reads this to please be cautious when you want to order jersey mikes in the evening within the last hour of closing. Read moreI placed an online order at 11:19am, and by 12:20pm it still hadn’t been started. When I called to check on the delay, no one answered the phone despite multiple attempts. After a long wait, someone finally picked up, but instead of helping, I was told to call back in half an hour.
I ended up going to the location in person to cancel the order and get food elsewhere for my family. When I arrived, they were still working on a large catering order, and it was clear that only two employees were trying to handle everything. It took another 10 minutes of me asking before they finally canceled my order and issued a refund.
If a location can’t fulfill regular online orders due to catering demands, they should consider disabling online ordering during those periods or at least assigning dedicated staff to handle them. Read moreI have loved, Jersey Mike's since first trying it over 3 years ago. However, after today, I might not ever go back. I went in to order dinner for my kids and me. The only guy working @ 4.00 p.m. On 09/10/2022, took my order. He wrote it down on a napkin and began to make it. As he started putting the toppings on I realized that one of the subs was the incorrect size. I brought it to his attention and he blatantly called me a liar and slammed two of the previously made subs into the trash can. I told him that it wasn't a big deal and that I would buy that sub too so that there wouldn't be a waste. He proceeded to inform me that I would have to wait to recycle at the end of the line.
