I almost forgot to share my experience at this establishment. To be in one of the busiest areas in Pensacola, the customer service is terrible. I ordered a McChicken and two other meals. And when I got to the window I told the young lady that the McChicken is supposed to be no lettuce once I looked at my receipt. When she called back to the kitchen there was some back and forth and she was looking puzzled. This raised alarm to me as I knew I was gonna receive a sandwich with the lettuce scraped off instead of fresh buns at the very least. Once I got my food I checked and surely the lettuce was scraped off and not even in its entirety. I told the young lady I did not want the lettuce scraped off I want new bread. Again there was back and forth from the kitchen ( the manager on duty DEMARCUS; as he was expediting the orders to the drive thru) The worker seemed uneasy and stated that ‘he said he’s gonna give you a refund.’ That was fine with me up until the manager begin to get disrespectful with me in regards to me not accepting the sandwich. I asked the young lady at the window for the managers name and she refused stating she’s going to let him tell me his name. I asked his name and DEMARCUS got loud with me, yelling my name is DEMARCUS twisting his neck and rolling his eyes. The young lady at the window was surprised by his reaction and stood there in shock. I advise you guys give DEMARCUS so time off as his work-life balance is not leveling out; he needs time to reflect on handling customer situations in a productive manner, professionalism, and self control. It seems this may not be the job for him as he does not work well under pressure or wasn’t prepared for the late night dinner rush. The rest of my items where not hot and I could not even stomach the fries. Maybe it was from his negative energy that wouldn’t allow to me to intake the food I did receive. I am pretty sure it’s not McDonalds policy to scrape lettuce off a customer sandwich when they make a special request. One may be allergic to lettuce and have a severe reaction if this was the case andI hadn’t checked my sandwich this establishment would be in a lot of trouble. Read moreFriday 12/2 about 10am, I made a Mobil app order and was asked to park & wait for a McMuffin SUB bacon. I also ordered two other items and after waiting 10 minutes, I went inside. It was very busy and I wouldn’t normally complain. The female manager/shift supervisor (wearing a blue shirt,) was literally twirling around, and loudly carrying on a private conversation on her cell. She twirled away very quickly the moment she saw me approach counter, so I called out to her. Every other worker was busy, getting things done. She asked me 3 times what I ordered and pretty much was flustered bc I called her out about being on the phone. My order could not be found and she attempted to have me settle for a lunch item (by now it’s 10:20,) and I said no, I’m trying to eat breakfast on my way to work-which by now I’m late. I had to tell her 3 times that I ordered an egg McMuffin SUB BACON,) She then mumbled something rude to the cook and also fussed at the person getting the drinks ready for drive thru customers. Because there was no frappe (another HUGE problem,) I ordered an iced coffee with no flavorings or sugar substitute. So black with a cream on the side. Now I’m late for work and no time to check it. There’s minimum ice in the coffee, no creamer. Theres ham NOT bacon on the McMuffin and it tasted so sour that I tossed it in the garbage. Within 2 hours I was throwing up, so the one star is given for the sole purpose of leaving a review with the facts. Although she gave me a refund, it didn’t change that I was late for work and didn’t have breakfast. I took a bite and spit out the 2nd. Feeling sick all day from either the ham or the hassle. This manager or team leader in the blue shirt needs to go. Not only is she NOT a leader, her rude mannerisms and unprofessional appearance doesn’t belong in any position of management of your other employees, and certainly not interacting with your customers. Read morePlaced an order through the app, pulled up for curbside pickup. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, nothing. Called at the 15 minute mark because while they were busy, I try to be understanding. Busy signal. Tried to call multiple times, all busy.
Went inside at the 20 minute mark to see my food sitting on the counter. The employee at the front could not have looked less interested sitting on their phone. When I explained I was trying to get my food I was told it would be brought out. After explaining that I'd tried that for 20 minutes I was just told "Oh you have to talk to this lady over here" and they walked off.
There was a lot of frantic searching for my food that was literally sitting there on the counter with my order number. Cold fries, melting ice in my drink. No offer to re-make anything, just a very cold "sorry for the inconvenience" and that was it.
I would have been happier skipping lunch than eating here. Save your time, vote with your wallet and head over to literally anywhere else. The Taco Bell down the road has fantastic service.
