Food great! Communication is absolutely horrible and unable to communicate! Tried to call no one ever picks up a phone there. You have to hope for a call back. No confirmation before and good luck if you want to make a change the day before. If you oder something 2 month in advance you want to confirm everything! Sense we couldn't get a hold of anyone, we ended up with 2 catered lunches. We couldn't rely on if they were going to show up so we ordered from someone else as well. No Communication, we didnt know if they were still doing catering. Again no one answers the phone. Supposedly they called back according to the person who delivered. Surprisingly no message on voicemail on the 3 different people that tried to call. When we placed the order the past few times it has taken a week. We dealt with it. Food is good, everyone likes it. Plus they are locally owned. YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD BUT IF YOU DONT COMMUNICATE AND ARE UNREACHABLE, DOESN'T MATTER. I can tell you we are not going to book them again. I used Cracked Pepper catering for my daughter's first birthday party. I did the Summer Picnic Buffet with chicken sandwiches and hamburgers for adults and chicken tenders for children. Overall, we had WAY MORE FOOD than we needed and I could have spent about 1/2 as much money. In addition, the food sat out on the chaffing dishes and dried out throughout the party (which was not their fault, it was a hot day!). The food was good but the presentation of the condiments could have been nicer. They came and set up everything and were very friendly. I would use them again but I would not use their judgement when it comes to planning quantities and I would use my own dishes for a nicer presentation. I had been here a while ago, June of last year, but I hadn't really bothered writing reviews until now. I ordered lunch with a gift card after looking at their menu online. The woman I spoke with and the person I got food from when I came in- possibly the same woman- were incredibly rude. The prices were higher than their menu online. She told me they changed their prices at the beginning of the year but haven't had time to update the website- this was June. The only reason they got 2 stars was because the food was actually decent. I have had much better service, accurate and honest pricing, lower prices, and better food at a dozen other places in town.
