Nightjar — Restaurant in Peoria

I've only been to Nightjar once so my review of the establishment could change later, but this is how it stands right now.

The cocktails and beer selection are good, but the service definitely needs a lot of work. The night we visited wasn't busy and we sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and they came out really quickly and were delicious. When we were near finished with our drinks we started looking at the menu again to order another then our bartender disappeared. There was another bartender working who wouldn't give us his attention yet it was slow enough that he was scrolling through his phone and talking to someone from the kitchen. At one point the manager came out and asked if he needed help with anything and he looked right at us and he said everyone was taken care of yet he still didn't help us. At this point we hadn't been acknowledged for 20-25 minutes, not even a simple "Are you two doing okay over here?" Eventually our original bartender came out so I thought she'd help us, but she grabbed a stack of receipts and went elsewhere. We tried to get the bartender's attention again for a few more minutes but decided to just get our receipt which I had to raise my voice at the guy to get. It was almost like they didn't want...
