I place a mobile order for TABLE SERVICE , waited in lobby at the table for 20min and nothing. Went to counter to see the hold up and find out the my order had just been sitting up there for who knows how long (should have been delivered to my table. Key word: TABLE SERVICE ). When we got back to our table the food was cold and one of my burger wasn’t in the bag( mistake happens no biggie). Went up to the counter to explain the mistake about the missing burger and the employee was very rude said nothing to me and just grab a burger off of the bagging station and handed it to me without making sure it even the same type of burger I order let alone had the customization I did to it. I had to stand up at the counter again waiting for an employee to pay attention to me. Same lady ended up coming back up rolled her eyes at me and snatch the wrong burger and basically thru the new one into my hand. While I was up there I overheard a customer request a manger and the same rude employee that is probably at least in her 50 told her that there wasn’t a manager at the store at the moment. When I second later ask if they really were open without a manager. I was told that he was in the back and was too busy to deal with us customers. Which one is it? Is there a manager on duty or are these employees running hay wire. I work in fast food I understand how it is however not apologizing or acknowledging that they mess up instead of treating it like it the customer fault is just not okay. Some of u guy may say oh there sort staff however there were 7 employees on duty that I saw. That enough for 1 employee to be at each window, 2 people on line making the food, a fry person, and 2 cashier/ food runner up front. Plus if they were sort staff with a lot of call off why were they parking almost every vehicle ( instead of sending employees out to bring food to park car u could use those people with the weak spot). Not to add to this long review but they had multiple third party deliveries driver just end up walking out due to no one acknowledging them and how long it took for order to come...
Read moreI don't know what's wrong with this McDonald's. Their managers consistently talk bad about it. Yesterday we went and the lobby said closed until further notice with on a light green sign. The day before it was a white sign. Being I used to work for McDonald's long ago I Typical ask for fresh fries so we go head and pull around to the drive thru mind you I'm picking up 3 free meals from a couple nights before due to long wait times and poor food quality. We have our order and get to the window. The manager tells us to pull around so we can get our food fresh. I'm sorry but isn't the food supposed to be fresh all the time? Anyway as the drive thru line is moving we're still sitting. 15 minutes later I had to walk in at which time they removed their closed sign. I was told they waited until fries were cooked to drop the chicken. I appreciate that but the fries still went in my bag half full and warmer warm not out the grease hot. The actual issue started 2 nights prior when my aide went to go get me food. He said the same thing happened to him with the pull forward so we can make fresh food. When he walked in the manager asked how he got in instead of telling him where his food was then he waited another 15 minutes. He came back with cold dark brown fries that had been cooked in old grease. I took it back myself. Of course the lobby was closed but I got their attention. The manager comes out. I show her the fries and asked her if she'd serve them to her family. She said no. So I asked why they were served to her customers. She said she'd fix it. I waited a good 20 minutes before my food came out and the fries were still the same. Room temp cooked in old grease. I proceeded to tell her that the grease needed to be changed. She said I'm just the night manager. There's a lot at this store that needs to be changed but nobody listens to me. What kills me is they want more money but don't want to work. They have sub par customer service, lack communication skills, and don't care what they serve...
Read moreIt was lunch time, and the drive-thru was slammed. So I decided to go in to order and be back out with my simple, 1 item order, a large coke, no ice.
Well, the lobby was loaded too. So, back of the line I go. I eventually get my order in, and waited again. When they gave it to me, I asked if this smaller size was their new LARGE size. She said no, it's a medium. I told her I had ordered a large, to which she stated, "Well, it said medium." It may very well have said that on the screen, because I couldn't tell, the printing on MY receipt was unreadable with only the price that I paid $1.09.
She said I'd have to wait some more, due to only 1 machine. So I waited some more. Finally, my order came thru. Elapsed time from entering until exiting, 28+ minutes, for 1 coke.
Lesson for McDonalds, put someone specifically on orders of 1 or 2 items. That's all they do during those "We're getting slammed" times.
Today's fiasco was caused by LARGE family orders from the lobby in conjunction with drive-thru.
To top all of this off, I noticed the floors were filthy (they need a professional scrubbing), cluttered and in disarray. As I initially stood in line, I smelled a scent akin to a dirty baby diaper. When I got to the counter to finally order, I commented this point to the cashier, who lowered his mask and verified the accuracy of my nose. It was double verified by the person next to me who was next to order.
I won't go near this restaurant again until I hear what actions have been taken to correct the cleanliness issues identified here.
Do other fast-food restaurants ever get "slammed"? I'm sure they do, but you need to address the simple, 1 or 2 item order issue to speed-up that turnover.
Time is important to everyone, and as customers, if we decide to come to YOUR restaurant, be respectful of our time, we could have gone anywhere. I can just imagine how you would hate having others waste your time.
