If not familiar with this chain, it is Asian fast food where items are served to you out of buffet style warming trays. Not very appealing looking food, but being fast food and inexpensive, expectations were not high. I expected just okay food.
On the positive side, the servers and cashier were friendly and polite.
However, the food was terrible. I ordered two items along with the included sides. They said it would be a few minutes and gave me the choice of picking something else or waiting. They also offered me a partial plate of food and could bring the rest when ready. As I was in no rush I opted to wait knowing it should be fresh. After I paid they said they would bring it out to me once ready.
The Fire Chicken that had to be prepared was hot and tasted as I might expect, but the rest was cold and tasted awful. I believe they left the partial order of food sitting out, not even under a warmer, while they waited for the Fire Chicken to cook. I finished the Fire Chicken, but just had a little bit of the other stuff and had to toss it out. If I was hungrier, I might have taken it back, but I didn't have much of a desire to eat any more of that food.
I'm not one to typically give bad reviews and always try to look for the positives. However, this was a horrible experience and just can't recommend the food. I'm not likely to ever go back.
Hopefully this is not typical of the chain and just poor training on food safety at...
Read moreThis is the worst Panda I've ever been to. I've tried going there before and the wait has always been too long and I would leave. Last night I went at 7 p.m. to pick up food for myself and my daughter . Numerous people are sitting at tables waiting for food and warned me. No chow-mein in the bowl. No shrimp. They came out with chow-mein and started filling orders for people waiting at the tables. I asked how long it would be before the shrimp would be available and was told 5 minutes. I decided to pick up my prescription at CVS and came back about 20 minutes later. When I came in there was 11 people in front of me, it appeared 6 were in the group. The girl at the rice and chow mein was moving in slow motion and I assumed took their order. The girl left the station and NOBODY was THERE. She came back with a bunch of cardboard cartons and proceeded to start setting them up and writing on them. All the workers down the line away watched. Looking around doing NOTHING but watch HER. NOBODY was assisting US. NOBODY. I said something and they looked at me as if I was CRAZY. I had to leave a second time with no food, STARVING. I will never return. This place must only employ teenagers with no work ethic and actually no training or...
Read moreI was a bit disappointed as I ran to get dinner for the family and they had "no Sweet Fire Chicken for the rest of the night". Of course, that was what my wife wanted, waiting at home. It was 7:00. My prior visit to Panda, earlier this week, they had no brown rice or vegetables at lunch time. We arrived at 11:10 and there was very few customers. Have it your way, just doesn't seem to apply here. Let alone, you can't always count on their menu, their way. Back to tonight, they didn't put my wife's bowl, another choice, in our bag. Luckily, I wanted soy, mustard and chili sauce. After honking my horn to get someone's attention, they gave me soy and chili sauce, then went, "oh hers your bowl". Never an apology or single sense that they felt badly, as they were going to let us drive off without our full order. Not an apology or explanation for not having a menu item available. Just disappointing. The food we...
