I ordered two pizzas both larges, one with pepperoni and the other only black olives, a two liter and cheesesticks. I ordered this at 5:48pm with a delivery time of 7pm since my last two orders for delivery have been late but your online tracking has recognized that and has gave us free pizzas for our next order. The delivery driver was on time and I tipped him $5 since the drive is 3 miles down the road. At first I noticed our cheesesticks were missing the pizza dipping sauce that should have came with it but no big deal, then we noticed our large only black olives pizza also had mushrooms. Now I know people are human and make mistakes, I figured I would call the store and they will run a new one out. I called at 7:06pm and the phone literally rang close to 40 times without anyone picking up. I decided to make the drive even though I just paid the delivery fee and the tip to the driver. I drove back to the store with the pizza, I was greeted and told it would be a few minutes to help me. While waiting the phone there continued to ring the entire experience I was there until before I left. I explained calmly and nicely about the wrong pizza, they took the pizza from me, made a new one within 10 mins, never once apologized for the inconvenience or refunded me for the delivery or anything. My family and I are pretty upset about it the experience. The store is the papa john's on Sheridan avenue, in Peoria, Illinois. I understand it's sat night and usually a busy night, in which they were and we all make mistakes but no apology or attempt to make things right has left a bad taste in our mouth.

I called to let them know the issue and they said the only thing they would do was bring me the sauces in ~30 minutes with their next delivery run. When I questioned that and said that made no sense because then I would have ice-cold food by that point, they told me that was âmy only optionâ. I asked them if they would take back the order with the next delivery and re-do the delivery correctly and they told me they would only do that if I paid another $3.50 delivery fee. SERIOUSLY?! To make matters worse when I told the person on the phone that this was not acceptable, and I wanted to speak to a manager the manager refused to get on the phone. When I insisted that I speak to the manager or be given the phone number of the managerâs boss they hung up the phone on me. I then called back and they refused to answer the call. What is exceptionally upsetting is that I order from this Papa Johnâs ALL THE TIME. Why zero attention would be paid to a regular/repeat customer after he calls to make a legitimate complaint is beyond my understanding. The managerâs name was Jamie and I think itâs shameful that you make such a big deal about your âQuality Guaranteeâ on your website and then when someone complains your manager makes no real effort to make the situation right. I asked if they had sent the pizza out yet for delivery. I was told it was on the way as the employee stifed back a laugh and hung up without saying goodbye. He honestly sounded high. Then I get a call from the delivery driver to tell me they were out of Sierra Mist. They asked if I wanted something different and I said no. Then they told me they couldn't refund my money bc it was an online order. I decided to get Cherry Pepsi but I should have canceled the order. After another 45 minutes the delivery driver arrived with a wrinkled shirt half untucked and what looked like flour in his hair. He gave me sone lame excuse about the Sierra Mist never even mentioning how long it took. My bread sticks were old, it was like chewing on an old tire. The pizza was so lackluster. Nothing special about it. The brownies were good but you can't really screw up brownies. For $36.36 you would think the pzza would be pretty good. I will be sticking to Pizza Hut from now on.
