I drove for 30 mins to try this restaurant after I saw the good reviews. I have to say I felt depressed and disappointed. We arrived at the restaurant 5 min before closing as I did not know they close at 7. I did apologise to the lady at the front desk and said I can take it to-go instead of dining in. She replied, āno we have a lot of cleaning stillā. I really appreciated this but I donāt think we were served properly. The fries as you see in the pics are dry and almost burnt. They were not freshly fried. The grape leaves have nothing to do with grape leaves. Itās their own creation. Itās mushy white rice wrapped in grape leaves. Please do yourself a favor and look up a recipe for how to make grape leaves and I am sure the worst recipe you will find is 100 times better than this. The pita bread was chewy and dense. The falafel in my sandwich was also not fresh. I paid $45 including tips for a falafel sandwich, a gyro sandwich, one order of fries, one order of grape leaves, and one fountain drink. For this much I really expect much much better quality food. Authentic delicious Mediterranean food is mouth drooling. This is nothing but a failing attempt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place doesn't look like much, but the food is pretty great. Their pita bread is thinner than what most places serve, so it's not like you're eating a sponge. It also tastes just slightly sweet and is very good.
The large portions really are quite large. My favorites are their gyro and kabob, with the shawarma slightly behind (the sauce isn't to my personal preference). The spicy gyro is just a gyro with Frank's Red Hot, and the chicken parm is just chicken tenders with sauce and cheese; stick to the traditional foods instead and you can't go wrong. I'm also a big fan of their breaded fries.
Prices are reasonable, they have Halal options if that's important to you, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Overall a great place for a quick bite for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot real lamb Shwarama. Real Shwarma is not chunks of grilled lamb meat tuff and some grisly. Some semi tender. But not Shwarama. 𤷠Gyros are Greek . Shwarama is middle Eastern. Both done similarly but with diffrent meats and spices. Never cut chunks of meat. But sliced meat stacked on an upright rotisserie in a cone shape and tender and shaved . false advertising . Twice I have ordered the lamb shwarama and twice I get lamb chunks assorted some tuff some with gristle. Tasty and coniments are correct. But NOT Shwarma!š I first had Shwarma in Lebanon. I'm insulted. š been eating your gyros for years wanted Shwarma . Just say we don't really...
