Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Peoria

Updating review again. Last experience was negative and giving credit where it's due.

Ordered big new yorker double pepperoni (regular pep and cupped pep) with extra sweet sauce. I have been having the most difficulty eating pizza (and anything with bread). Pizza is my favorite food and ever since starting chemo in April, I have had to settle for other stuff with combinations that are normally strange (and a lot of spice or sweets like candy, cant eat cakes though). Have been constantly losing weight thanks to this going on with food. Let me tell you, I may have been only able to eat 1 slice of it, and it's probably the most I have ate in one sitting for months... but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The big new yorker comes with some seasoning on top of the whole thing and the extra sweet sauce probably helped make the taste become more prominent due to spices in it which my taste buds like in my current situation. All I want to say is thanks and major props to the one who made it. You made someone who has been in a fight for months now and HOPEFULLY my last day of chemo will be Sept 19th 2024. I'll find out after my scan on that date. That really was the most flavor other than candy I have tasted for quite some time.

We also got the $7 deal with 1 medium chicken and 1 medium pepperoni. I personally did not eat these but there were no complaints.

Ordered for delivery, did have some issues with website (had to place order 3 times), and it was delivered via doordash. Other than website everything went swimmingly.

Ordered online for delivery, after an hour of waiting decided to call. Tried explaining the situation to the employee and he said they called me to confirm to delivery and no one answered. Never did I receive a call. I told him this and he said yes they did. So then i ask for a manager and as soon a this “manager” got on the phone he is now telling me he called and I told him I never ordered a pizza. I told him that i never even got a call. He proceeded to tell me to not argue with him. At this point I am pretty frustrated so he hung up. Never received refund for my food. Definitely calling corporate.

Edit: went back and talked to the day manager who was very nice and helpful. Forgot to get her name but she said she’s been there for 6 years.

My boyfriend and I went back in and explained the situation. She called her GM and came back with an itemized receipt. She let us know that the employees the night before had voided out our order. Still have no idea why but did ensure us that no money was taken out of our account and if it was it should be back in a few days. The “manager” who was working the night before his name is Cole. He cussed me out on the phone and I’m pretty sure he voided out my order so he can have a nice pizza to take home. The nice day manager told me that Cole has only worked there for 4 months and by reading some of the most recent reviews on this store I think Cole has done this to a few people.

First, I leave under 5min away and approximately 1/4 mile down the hill and they refused to deliver to me. Second they said they dont have medium pans and then they were out of nacho cheese!! Hello, this is a pizza place, how do you run out of cheese on a friday before a holiday?? Im sure they wont get a cheese order delivered on a Saturday!!! Staff was very rude and short! No customer satisfaction whatsoever!! I am President of the neighborhood close by and you wont deliver to us! I suggest you close this store and move it to another more suitable area where people do not care of your staff is rude and your store is not capable of delivery or fulfilling your menu orders. I will take this to the powers that be to find a solution for all. Sad because in the past pizza hit on prospect was awesome🙃 Please see if you can increase on customer satisfaction.
