Please let delivery drivers purchase drinks! This review is not intended to reflect poorly on the restaurant itself but rather the policy of not allowing delivery drivers to order a drink for themselves. This is the only Sonic I have been to that denies delivery drivers the ability to purchase a drink when they pick up orders for customers. I do understand the importance of giving customers their food in a timely manner. This is why even food delivery services ask their drivers not to order meals for themselves while on deliveries.. However, It doesn't take that long to fill a soda cup. There's a point where the policy goes a little too far and goes against common sense. As a delivery driver, I often spend hours in my car. Any personal stops that I make, take away from time that I can be on the road working. Having the opportunity to be able to at least get a drink for myself while I'm on the road is a huge convenience. All I ask is that this location please reconsider that policy. Although companies like McDonald's even offer free drinks to drivers, I'm not even suggesting that. Just allow us to at least be able to purchase a drink. Who knows, if drivers are allowed to purchase drinks, it might even add to the revenue stream at Sonic even more. I know I have certainly purchased many drinks at different locations while working. Personally I have been a customer of Sonic for years, but I know this experience, and store policy, will affect my decision to do business at this particular location. Although Sonic may not consider us employees, since they are essentially outsourcing so I'm technically not even an employee who has any eligibility for benefits, but in the same sense I am still working and could be considered part of the face of the company. Although a driver, I am still representing Sonic anytime I am on a delivery for them. I highly doubt Sonic employees are not allowed to have drinks during their shift. Please reconsider...
Read moreThe Sonic Drive-In, located at 6753 W Happy Valley Rd, Peoria, AZ 85383, is very un- uanitary. The cooks don't use gloves, the slush machines have dirt in their mix, black specs in their ice, bugs in their drains and I even once found a bug in my bacon burrito, which I have a picture of. The manages are unprofessional and treat the employees like garbage. One of the managers stated " Wouldn't be the first time someone quit because I was a b*h to them". The owner, Mark, then did nothing. This store has couples working for them left and right, which is very unprofessional. Members use their hands, without gloves to squeeze limes and lemons into drinks. If a cup is broken while mixing an ice cream, they don't replace it completely, they scoop out that same one and put it in a new cup. The crew members NEVER wash their hands. They are supposed to wash them every 20 minutes, or after touching anything. The bathroom door, located inside the shop is open. Which means, any bacteria from that bathroom, which is right next to the kitchen, floats in the air all around the food. The whole crew is disrespectful. The environment is gross. This store is unstable and needs...
Read moreOrdered drive thru and was disgusted when I got home. My kid didn't want to eat it his chicken tenders and honestly wasn't going to force him. It was so dark as if it was cooked too long or if the oil was old. I also found a nose or Pubic looking hair in the Buffalo sauce 🤢 this was after my second dip so now I feel like I have hair stuck in my throat. This is my first and last time. Honestly feel bad for the people that were eating in their car. They probably were eating nose hairs unknowingly in the dark. Stay away from the mystery sauce. It's pumped into the clear containers. The only positive was the girl taking my order was friendly. Whoever made food tonight 10/21 at this location needs to groom better when preparing food. Hair and burnt chicken tenders was not in my order! $30 down the drain and just...
