First timer here and I'm not super happy :/
Service was excellent. Our waitress Emily was incredibly sweet and answered all of my questions as well as provided personal recommendations from the menu. The cinnamon roll was also excellent (and is frankly the only reason I'm giving Biscuit's two stars). It was MASSIVE for a $5 roll. The icing was sweet but also tangy (I believe it was cream cheese icing), and the roll itself was fluffy and delicious. Portions were good, if you're super hungry. If not, expect to bring home leftovers. "Two eggs" was a lot of eggs and, from my own personal experiences, looked more like four. Not at all a problem, just something I happened to notice.
The rest of our food... Well, I can't say the same. The eggs were alright. The hash browns... The texture itself left more to be desired, and even with lots of salt, pepper, and ketchup were pretty hard to stomach... Both my boyfriend and I ate less than half of them. My country fried steak was average, which normally would be ok, but for a $15.50 price tag was a bit lacking. Now I bring us to the pancakes. When you think pancake, you think light and fluffy. This was not the case. Boyfriend got two pancakes on his plate like he ordered. At first glance, his two pancakes were two very different colors. Upon further inspection, the prettier top pancake had a crunchy ring around the outside. The second pancake was what appalled me most. For a little background story, I myself work in a breakfast cafe (which I won't name as it may make the review have less value). I make pancakes on a daily basis, and I knew instantly that my head cook would have my head on a stake if I presented a pancake like this second one. It was almost completely hard. When I held it in my hands, there was no give. I tried to break it in half, and when I did, it crackled like pop rocks. I could've thrown the thing as a frisbee if I desired. Boyfriend had to put his full weight on his fork just to get through the thing.
Overall, my experience was mediocre, and for the $36 price tag (before tip) I expected a lot more out...

They were busy on their smartphones and cared less about the paying customer. I've been a customer since your restaurant opened and have brought over parties of 15 on a few occasions. The best part is I've always given your wait staff a gratuity of 50% and a few of 100% of the bill. The one time I needed faster service, I was treated like crap from the minute I walked in. I was seated, and after 10 minutes, there was no acknowledgement from the wait staff. The same young ladies walked by my table still chatting and giggling. When I asked for wait staff, they replied, 'Your waiter will be with you soon.' When approached by the waitress, I wasn't asked for my drink order. I did mention I was in a hurry and all she, the manager on duty, told me was that it'll be 15-20 minutes, of which I was already in your restaurant for 15 minutes. Another staff member chimed in with 'There are 5-6 orders in front of you and an order for a table of 10 plus patrons.' So, you can't accommodate one customer who's short on time, as all your other customers aren't in a hurry? In a condescending tone after I told her, 'Angie,' I think was her name, that I had already waited for some time. As I made my way out, she rudely told me to have a nice day, basically telling me to have a nice expletive day. She was irate and told me a second time when I asked for the manager, and she said she was the manager. This was the worst customer service I've received from any restaurant, especially after I've been a loyal customer since the restaurant opened. I demand a formal apology from both upper management and the manager on duty as soon...
Read moreWe had a lazy Sunday morning and decided to try this place for breakfast. The service was wonderful and so was the food. They offer both takeout and dine-in right now. Not sure but I think they had a curbside option too, but call to verify.
Given it was a Sunday, we arrived about 8:45 and were promptly seated. The serving staff were polite and efficient. My coffee cup stayed full and hot. They brought water refills without being asked. After our meal was served, we were asked how everything was within about 5 minutes then left to enjoy our meal. Attentive but not in-your-face service. They have sugar substitute, I picked splenda, and sugar free syrup, which they warmed for me.
The tables were spaced well and there were little placards placed on the table letting the hostess know when it had been sanitized and was ready for the next seating. A nice touch.
Now about the food. Delicious! First up was the country omelet which was a very large portion and packed with a delicious sausage and bacon filling. The hashbrowns were crispy and seasoned well.
Next we tried the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was tender in a crispy battered crust. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, not too runny.
Homemade sausage gravy, I am pleased toSplenda, even be better than my own. The biscuits were soft and golden brown. The homemade strawberry jam was a pleasant surprise too.
As a side, we had two pancakes. Thick and fluffy with just the right amount of texture. Not gooey or mushy like some other restaurants.
We finished off with a side of fresh fruit. Chopped strawberry, orange, pineapple, grape and cantaloupe in natural juices.
We will definitely be...
