Former Wendy's Shift Manager here. Back in the day, Wendy's prided themselves on quality, freshness and quick and efficient service! This was stressed during training of the employees, shift leaders and managers. All products cooked or frigerated had time expectations. If fries, nuggets, burgers, chicken etc exceeded that timeframe, it was discarded and NEVER served to customers!!! If the same products were under or over cooked, they would be discarded and NEVER served to customers!!!
We have been to this location a few times in the past year. Each time, including today, we have received chicken, burgers and fries that should not have been served to customers! Condiments provided in the burgers and chicken sandwich did not cover the bun as Dave and Wendy prided the establishment in providing. Condiments generally being able to be tasted with each bite. Classic chicken sandwich had two small pickles slices. Small piece of lettuce you couldn't see beyond the edge of the bun and chicken that was dry inside and out. Burger, same experience with the condiments. Only 1 piece of bacon in the Baconator??? Fries, cold and dark in color. Tells me they don't change there oil as often as they should and they serve fries beyond it's time. Quality control and most likely management training is lacking here. What they serve to customers here shouldn't be happening no matter what time of day a...
Read morehow do i describe this location? terrible. looking for a job? do not ever go to this place and apply. the manager, overworks ALL of his staff. it does not matter if you are a student in high school, or in college, or have any sort of life outside of wendys, he will work you to the brim. he may seem okay and nice at first, but once you get the inside scoop of it, its awful. out of my months of working there, i had only received on apology for his anger issues, that he pushes on his coworkers. hes always in some sort of sour mood, but then again, he has told some of the older workers (even some young teenage girls) about his love life and life in general- it almost non existent. he also likes to get handsy a bit with the young girls, touching and rubbing their backs or shoulders, just straight up WEIRD. also, if you hadn't met this guy yet, be prepared to get a glare when he gives you your order, or if you ask for sauces. he's always rude to the customers, which is the one thing you are told NOT TO DO, as a general manager. just wanted to share that amongst everyone so they can kind of get an idea of what it's like to work here, its no easy job, working for an emplyer who will guilt trip you into believing your job, at a fast food chain, is more important than your family or your...
Read moreThe food was fresh and good. Everything I ordered came out correctly, which I appreciate. The man who took our order was very rude and acted like he didn't want to be there. His customer service skills were completely lacking. To be honest, he was void of any personality except his customers being a bother to him. I gave it 2 stars because the absolute gem of an older woman who takes your money. She was so kind, friendly, and quite frankly the only true positive about my experience. Keep this woman at all costs and give her a raise! Lastly, when I went to the last window to pick up my food, the aforementioned rude man who took my order was at the window; seemingly treating other customers behind me the same way. He had a blank name tag, so I couldn't find a name. The window was open, but he never once acknowledged me. Instead, I waited there until a woman handed me the food and had to be reminded of the drinks, only to be a robot that said "thanks, have a good day" in the fastest way that I could barely understand that's what she said. No, they weren't that busy. No, I wasn't rude back or to begin with. No, I didn't order anything crazy. It was my first time in that new drive thru, and I think...
