Order #3345, PUW, 11/15/16. I wanted to be involved with National Adoption Day for Wendy's birthday where 15% of sales goes to Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. I asked my roommate for a ride to Wendy's through the drive thru. I ordered the 4 for 4$ crispy chicken blt, spicy chicken nuggets, fries, coke no ice, 1 ranch sauce and 1 bbq sauce. When I got home, my crispy chicken blt didn't have tomato, my coke had ice, and was given 3 ranch sauces, and 3 sweet and sour sauces, no bqq sauce. I called the store to let them know of their mistake and a man I talked to on the phone said I could pull up through the drive thru and my order would be remade. I asked my roommate for a ride back to Wendy's drive thru. When we pulled up I told them I was there to pick up a remake order. At the window they handed me just the crispy chicken blt. I gave them my receipt and told them my order was to be remade, just like the man told me on the phone. A lady at the window gave me my coke no ice and apologized and told us to pull forward, and we waited. When another lady brought out the food, I checked the food. There was a crispy chicken blt, regular chicken nuggets, fries, no ranch, and 1 bbq sauce. I said to my roommate, my chicken nuggets are not spicy, and there's no ranch, I want to go in and tell them. We pulled around, and I started walking up to the door. The lady who brought out our food was smoking a cigarette and said the dining was closed. I informed her of the nuggets and on her headset she told someone to bring out 4 spicy nuggets. I didn't bother mentioning the ranch sauce since there was 3 at home for me. I love Wendy's food, it's always delicious. I won't stop going to Wendy's just because tonight happened the way it did. Though, you humans need to double check your work on making less mistakes before you're unemployed and get replaced with computer robots that don't...
Read moreIf you are going to ignore the customers at the counter ordering for dine in, focusing solely on drive-through and delivery orders, then why have the doors unlocked for dine-in service????? Arrive 6:25pm, waited in line behind two other customers, by 6:30 another guest who was just wanting to add on a frosty jumped in line, the guest at the counter finally got their order taken. By 6:35, the mom/child had decided to come back tomorrow for the frosty, but another two guests had walked in line for dine in service. At least 6 if not more delivery pick ups happened and the drive through was consistently getting food out the window. By 6:40 the couple who had JUST ordered had their food, but the families that ordered before them for dine in still had yet to receive food. Nobody was communicating to the customers, the pick up counter had orders everywhere not labeled, employees just heads down, attempting to stay on top of things, yet the counter was still getting ignored. By 6:45pm the two other customers who had gotten in line behind me left, one due to seeing an employee put chicken nuggets from the tray/container, without gloves on, back into the warmer with the rest of the nuggets. I left without even placing an order by 6:47p, 22 minutes after entering, and the guest in front of me hadn't been helped either, they had 2 kids with them, too. Truly understand a busy moment in resturants can happen unexpectedly, but this was a Friday night on a holiday weekend, it should have been anticipated. Seemed more like a combination of poor leadership, no communication and a lack and organization skills or even seeming to care about their jobs - no gloves on mist employees and at least two were wearing sweat pants as their uniform. This Wendy's needs a manager who cares to help bring back the integrity...
Read moreWent through the drive through pretty late last night. I tried to order two of the 4 for 4's with the regular classic chicken sandwich. The guy said something along the lines of now its a biggie bag for $5. Ok cool, let's do it then. Added also a Jr bacon cheeseburger by itself. Paid for my food and the fries were awesome. Crispy, hot and fresh.( And now I'm craving French fries). Anyways the chicken sandwiches were different. Had cheese and bacon. My Jr bacon cheeseburger was missing. I went back through the drive through. At first the guy was a little rude stating he had told me it was a biggie bag. Ok. Great. I don't work there so I don't have the menu memorized. However, gotta give credit where it's due because when I pulled up to the window he apologized and gave me my Jr bacon cheeseburger and two chicken sandwiches how I had wanted them and let us keep the weird ones. He did explain that the menu option had recently changed and apparently the classic or crispy chicken sandwich is no longer an option with the 4 for 4 or biggie bag. I told him it's all good. I'm glad I realized that everyone has bad days and didn't pop off to him. He was doing his job and doing it well. Thank you for making my order the way I wanted it. I...
