I’ve been twice. The first time I got a lemon chicken. I like sweet, but this was a too much sweet. I let it go, because there was an employee (I think the owner actually) who was very friendly. He bragged about how amazing the place is and how people come far and wide. It wasn’t amazing, but the atmosphere was friendly enough and I wasn’t sure I’d be back.

My second trip… (I LOVE Chinese food and wanted to give it another shot)  I got the pepper steak without spice. The sauce was tangy and very bland. I hoped for a little sweet.

Once again, the owner, person in charge was friendly with the patrons. (There was a couple --the only other there besides me,who’d apparently been dozens of times.) He was bragging about how amazing the food was and how customers come back for that. There were even a few people who came in from a distance to get food. (One came from Avondale).

Honestly… I don’t understand this. The food is subpar for Chinese and the owner seems to be over chatty and loves to brag. With this visit he was in a super rush for me to leave (He was not my original wait staff, but brought me my receipt about 35 mins in, when there was a lot of food on my plate.) The place was empty after that first couple left. He asked me twice if I wanted a refill. (I needed to be there 45 mins… so this was about 40 mins in…) I felt rushed and disappointed

Go to George Yangs if you can… You will spend about the same, but the customer service is way above this and so...

Please do not promote this restaurant the foods is horrible It not authentic,it overcooked dried up and definitely does not have any flavored or seasoning of any kind it is really bland I ordered from this place first time ever today this evening 8-22-2022 WHY I DON'T KNOW !!! BUT I WILL NEVER MAKE A MISTAKE LIKE THAT AGAIN!! there is a employee who name is Raymond who said he was the mgr . I explained to him and brought the foods back to him and asked for my money back he said that he was sorry but there nothing he could do but you just said you were the mgr. So there you have it !!!!false advertising, foods was terrible 😔 and this man who name Raymond is a person who claims that he was the mgr.but lie to me or anyone to get your money also let me add something on to this review I told Raymond I was simply calling to find out if they could make a adjustment to my order if not he said yes but don't go through door dash because they charge too much not true the real reason that they don't want you to order from door dash because door dash will give you a full refund when you show proof or they look into the matter so I wish I had listened to my first instinct at least I would have gotten my full $25.00 for paying for this slop 😡😡SO THE CITY OF Glendale, Peoria,Sun City, and Surprise,E.T.C. please do not eat , like I said I learn...

My boyfriend and I decided to stop in before going to work today... Gotta say that I'm so glad we did!! Looking at the place from the outside does not prepare you at all for what you get on the inside. Wongs is very tastefully decorated and so, so clean. We got nothing but smiles from the prompt and friendly staff... Everyone there was staying busy the entire visit, from spot cleaning to folding menus. Let's get into what's really important though... The food!!!! We started our meal with Crab Rangoon and Beef Skewers... Just amazing. The Rangoon was light and crispy, the filling just right; while the Skewers were juicy and tender with just the right flavor. After that we both went for dinner combos. I went for the pepper steak which was served with egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, an egg roll, and fried rice. The chicken was delectable, super crispy and flavorful... Pepper steak was just right, fried shrimp was yummy, and fried rice had a great taste. Egg roll was a bit too cooked for me, but just right for my boyfriend. The only difference in his combo was the spicy orange chicken which he LOVED. Neither of us had anything bad at all to say about the soup... In short, best Chinese food I've ever had. We will be going back...

This will be my one and only order from here. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice, a sm order of lo mein, and a sm order of wonton soup. Total was around 16.00 Portion sizes were generous, however, the food quality to me wasn't what I want out of chinese food. The fried rice was bland and undercooked and was literally just rice with soy sauce. No egg, carrots or peas that you get in most standard fried rices and certainly not worth paying the extra money for. The lo mein noodles tasted ok, but, again was just the noodles only and they were on the greasy side. The chicken for me was inedible. I tasted one piece as did my husband. It was sliced very thin and was quite rubbery and not crispy in texture at all. Sauce tasted okay but I could not get over the texture of that one piece of chicken. The one and only thing I could say I truly enjoyed was the won ton soup. Flavorful, hot, and had several nice sized won tons inside the broth. Overall, a disappointing waste of food as almost all of it went into the trash. Service was grewt and staff were nice and friendly and the order was filled quickly despite the issue with the food not being up to par.

Havent been to Wong jr for years, but my favorite place is getting crazy expensive, so im branching back out. Order was taken home Employees were super friendly -Pricing was great -House Lomein had great flavor and wasn't greasy - egg drop soup tasted like eggs no flavor otherwise which is ok by me salt, pepper and some sweet sour and it taste great - bbq chicken that came with the combo was dry and the sauce was odd - bbq pork slices where amazing the best ive had in ages.....had they not put this gravy stuff over them nice and tender and the ones that didnt have gravy where on point. Order it without it. -Beef and broccoli was ok what ever the sauce they make leaves the broccoli with a slimy texture but if eaten right as its served might change that - pork fried rice was very tasty and full of flavor only thing id add is some fresh green onion Will i be back ? Absolutely

My wife ordered food from Wong’s Jr. She found what looks like plastic or bone, my wife called them on the phone and manager answered phone and assumed that she planted the item on the plate and was giggling and laughing. Food was delivered to my house on Thursday She ordered 2 large meals, bbq pork fried rice and chicken with broccoli with white rice. Bbq rice was fine, the chicken with broccoli order was the one with the object. He didn’t believe her because She called the next day, my wife went to eat what was leftover from the previous nights food and found it. She asked to speak to owner of restaurant and manager said to provide phone number for owner to call but that it’s not guaranteed that he will call. You’ve been warned, eat at this restaurant at your own risk!!!
