Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

I frequent this place for lunch since I work up the road. And one thing I have noticed is they don't mix the burrito Ingredients properly. You always get fulll bites of lettuce or full bites of just rice. All the fillings would be on the bottom.... so to remedy that issue I've recently been ordering a burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side and mixing it myself before assembling the burrito. Well today on moes Monday they decided they wanted to charge me $1 extra to order a tortilla on the side? I argued with the man saying if I order the burrito I don't get charged extra. But if I order the burrito in a bowl with the tortilla on the side all of a sudden I get charged extra..... I asked him what extra am I getting if it's the same exact Ingredients as ordering the burrito.? He couldnt produce an answer.... If they knew how to assemble burritos properly. And not just roll them up like a diaper, people would not have to order this way... Not once has any burrito place tried to charge extra for ordering this way. But it appears the workers at this moes location were ok with losing a frequent customer today... qdoba, bubakoos and Chipotle are both within equal distances away. It looks like I'll be going there for lunch every week now. Good job moes...

Horrible taco tuesday is a sham and the person who made my order didnt tell me about the stipulations...first of all my stacker was soggy not crunchy steak was chewy and to top it off i cldnt understand the person ringing me up to realize i wasnt getting a free taco because i didnt want the drink....also how is it buy 1 taco 1 free if i have to buy a drink that is literally 1.75 cheaper then a $4 taco i call bullshit horrible experience and i used to work for moes in clifton, nj...(personally requested to make customers food and was promoted to a manager cuz how u make it matters) not the first time ive been to this location... been multiple times because i miss my old work place and the food wen made well n cared for it is amazing...out of 5 visits 3 have been below average at pompton plains when i got home i was disappointed i spent the $ on it over taco bell even forget Chipotle...i understand corporate sets the deals but let ppl know right off huge sign says buy 1 get 1 and u see thay as a good deal but tiny print says o wait buy a drink to get that...so ur actually not getting ne thing but a 1.75 discount off a $4 taco not exactly a...

Watch out with this place the employees are sketchy and double charge you, got a burrito bowl and was double charged. Went back to my car and checked my banking info and it was stated that I was charged twice. When I went back into the restaurant and showed them I was charged twice with the same order number on my bank account and asked for my money back they said that sometimes the machine doesn’t work and they have to put the card in twice. Sketchy business always check your cc info to see if they double charged. Edited 2 days later after this occurred: Went back and got a free bowl of my choosing as compensation and the same dude that double charged me gave me the food, seemed like he was mad I actually came back for the food it seems like he double charges people without them knowing one charge going to moes and another charge going to a moes card that he cashes out on to get the double charges. Please look at your recent transactions when ordering from this moes...
