This is a local place we found and glad we did!! The food is outstanding! Being from Louisiana, bayou country this has no match, very good stuff...the turkey ribs,that we have never seen before,are delicious! Shrimp and grits are tasty just like back home. Ask for momma the owner and cook. She likes to know where y'all are from.. Give it a try you won't be sorry.. If y'all follow me it's hard to get a rating of 5 !!!! There's only a few fives in my line up! We base everything on food from the south where it's the best anyway!!

A group of 8 of us were in Sandusky for Ohio Bike Week, Sunrise is where we went for breakfast. We walked in right behind another group of 8, its a small family owned place. By the time our food came the place had no empty seats. With that being said the service and friendliness of the staff was simply amazing!! The food came out in a reasonable time and was delicious. And the young man waiting on us was just great!! If you're ever in the area I highly recommend checking it out.

I have been ordering from Sunrise Breakfast since they opened years ago on Hancock Street. I heard about how "excellent" their food was/is by word of mouth on the streets, so I had to order for myself because I am a "real" critic about good food & good cooking. I am so glad I tried Sunrise for myself because I was "sold" with the very 1st spoonful of their sprimp and grits & the breakfast pizza. I love that they are a family run business and mom, Rhonda, is right there at the realm leading her kids through the process. The food prices are very reasonable, the customer service is top notch friendly & EVERY item on the menu will have you wanting their breakfast every morning. 😋😋😋 If you haven't had a chance to get to Sunrise yet, you are missing out. Just try one time and I promise you will want more & more....

My husband and I recently had breakfast at Sunrise Breakfast, and everything about the experience was wonderful! He ordered the Traveler’s Breakfast with turkey ribs, sweet potato grits, and eggs and couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful and satisfying it was. I went with the Classic Bagel and grits, and both were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

Wow — this place blew me away! 🙌 I usually leave restaurants feeling a little disappointed, but today was a completely different story. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff greeted me with genuine warmth — not the fake, forced kind, but the kind that instantly makes you feel welcome.

The menu isn’t huge, but now I know why… it doesn’t have to be! Every dish is packed with flavor and absolutely unforgettable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Yes, that’s a 10-star rating from me!)
