I don't know who does the app for this store but I ordered a turkey panini, which was listed as available, and paid for it only to find out that they didn't have it. Not a big deal, except that I waited 20 minutes before I asked someone, only to find out that they didn't have it. No apologies. When I went to get my coffee from the counter, the employee did not even mention the sandwich or the fact that I was missing half of my order. He then said I could pick a different sandwich from the pre-made section instead. There was only one left, mozzarella pesto. I asked him if they were the same price and he said yes. I looked on the menu and they were NOT the same price. The one I ended up getting was $.70 cheaper. I may also have let this go if I hadn't already been there over 20 minutes at this point. One of the employees did offer me a refund and she was very helpful in taking care of that. But the app should not list food that is not available, and employees should attend to their customers more and notice if a customer is sitting and clearly waiting. It is considered responsible service to check on that customer. And if the customer indicates that they have been waiting and told that the food they ordered was not available, the employee should at least be honest about the price so that I don't pay for something...
Read moreUpdate : 8 months later after first negative review. Can STILL confirm this location had the rudest STAFF…. It’s crazy how these people have jobs in customer services and seem to be so bad at it.
Whoever (Bre) is, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to at this location. This morning I said I would like a cold brew…. Bla bla bla saying my order at the drive thru. She cuts me off and says, you WANT a cold brew? Not sure if she heard me correctly. Her tone was as if she was offended that I said (want) even though I didn’t say that. I clearly said I would like.
Anyway once I started to repeat my order she had the audacity to say. (THERE WE GO). As if she had corrected me…. It was the MOST bizarre interaction. I was on the phone with my boyfriend at the time when I ordered. When I was pulling up to the window he said I can’t believe she spoke to you like that. Funny enough as I was approaching the window she walked away. I was definitely going to say something to her about her rude and unnecessary tone with me.
I hope this review finds management because Bre with blonde hair has no business in customer service. Absolutely...
Read moreToday I ordered two coffee drinks and a chocolate croissant. The young lady said we're out of them. I could see two of them in the case and pointed to them asking why can't I have one of those? She said ok; they are a little old but you can have it. When my drinks were delivered, I asked this 2nd person for my chocolate croissant. She said she didn't know anything about it. "I only do drinks" She said. I pointed to the young lady who took my order and said ask her. Suddenly I was confronted by a manager who told me I was being demanding. I suppose she was right. However, I often feel that in this Starbucks --unlike any other -- I am rather unwelcome because of my age. I'm over 75. I order straight espresso at night. I guess that makes me strange. I guess I won't be back to this Perry Hall location. And that seemed to be the goal of at least two of the employees who dealt...
