Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in Perry Heights

Too expensive for the quality of food. They messed my order up and when I called to get it fixed they said they needed a picture of my food as proof and my receipt. My sandwich didn't have lettuce or tomato on it and my sweet tea was definitely not SWEET TEA. When I sent the picture, they replied saying that I ordered it wrong and sent a picture of their online ordering menu. In the picture they highlighted what I should have chose, but they don't even know their own menu because she was highlighting options for extras. No b, I just wanted regular amounts of what already comes on it. If I had to choose those options, how did the other "optional toppings" come on it without me choosing them under the EXTRA SECTION. She also proceeded to tell me their process in making tea (regular tea then they add sugar packets). I understand the process but there was no sugar in my tea and she didn't once apologize that someone may have forgotten to add it (or the toppings on my sandwich). The only apology I got was "we apologize for the confusion of our online ordering" .. there was no confusion there on my part. Will not be returning. A simply apology would have been enough for me to maybe try again, but their customer service is terrible and their food is not worth the amount...

Order a regular sandwich combo with cheese fries, cost a little over $16. Took around 15 minutes to get my food. First thing I noticed was “this is not worth what I paid” started with my cheese fries, they were terrible. No flavor and well under cooked fries, plus the chess’s was just basic cheese wiz from a jar taste. Tried the sandwich. This was the absolute worst cheese steak I’ve ever had. Not even just “ok”. Lettuce and tomatoes have no business being on a cheese steak.onions didn’t even taste like onions and I think I found one small tiny piece of mushroom.I tried it because this is their original sandwich and it should be the best thing on their menu. Never knew a cheese steak could taste so bad. For the price I was expecting quality and this was far from quality. They don’t use real steak it’s more like old shaved beef left overs. I’ll never go back or try anything else from this company it was so bad! If the meal didn’t cost as much as it did I would have thrown it in the trash first bite. Ok, I see some negatives out here. Maybe for a justified reason?

In my experience, I was the only customer, after 1 pm on Tuesday.

I was going to park and go in, but they have two spots available. I opted for the drive-thru. I pull up, lady greets me. I ask for some time as it's my 1st trip through. No problem, order whenever I'm ready. I decided on a Philly with onions, Mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised, the sandwich was hot. Real meat, not dried cardboard with beef-flavored oil on it. And the mix of all the flavors got me thinking, " I'll do this again"

I started with a small, as costs are $7.50 start range. Just to try them out. I had water in the car and everyone knows you get a head cracking when ordering drinks.

So friendliness and cleanliness around the outside of the building were great starters. The sandwich was good enough, I'd buy it again. I'm not big on the sides, extra $$$...I'm in search of the ultimate cheese steak sandwich. Charley's wild flavor combinations are in the right direction. I'll be back and tweak my reviews...
