Starbucks — Restaurant in Perry Township

I just went to Starbucks for the buy one get one free deal they had going on today and I ordered at the speaker and asked the barista if it was still going on and she said yes if you have the app and I said OK cool. When I got to the window, she only handed me one drink and I said I had to buy one get one free and she said you have to have the app and I was confused because they were only announcing it in the app and I asked about it so I obviously have it… so I asked if I had to order through the app. The barista responded no I just had to have the app again, so again I told her I had the app. She just looks at me. I said are you not going to give me the free drink is that what you’re saying? & she said she’s sorry she only rang me up for one instead of realizing she made a mistake and making it right. I work with customer service and in my opinion that was not a good...

The crew is very friendly and do their jobs well.

However, this place is a bit of a management nightmare. This area has been highly anticipating a stand-alone Starbucks for quite some time. There is a lot of demand. Yet, since opening, they have very rarely been open in the evening. I know of at least one person who applied to work there that never got a call and would have gladly worked evenings.

Further, when they are open, they do nothing to manage the traffic flow in the drive-thru line. It blocks the rest of the parking lot and negatively impacts traffic on the service road leading to it. I recommend reaching out to the Sawmill Rd store as they have managed lines exceeding the store parameters very well (traffic cones).

I usually go in the morning as soon as they open because evening time can get pretty chaotic! Majority of the baristas I’ve met have been extremely nice, but there is one barista who truly makes my morning better! His name is Connor and he has been working the drive thru most mornings I go! He is extremely kind and upbeat and doesn’t mind engaging in conversation until your coffee is ready!

I always order a venti iced caramel brûlée latte with VSCCF and extra topping and 95% of the time it’s made perfect! A couple times it was made wrong but Devin (also very helpful and SUPER nice) had no issue having it remade!
