So my wife and I went here because she absolutely loves wings, and this used to be her favorite wing place (Over BWWs) So we get there and had trouble finding anyone to seat us... finally got to a booth, not a very crowded evening, where we waited for service. Finally ordered, quickly, because we were hungry. 50 minutes later they bring out our food; my wings were very grissly, chewy, and the sauce was... I dont even know what, but was not the garlic amd sweet bbq i ordered. They were almost like a sriracha. Could definitely tell that when they ask if you want no spice, hot, mild, or really hot that they add a completely separate spice mixture. After getting our food and me not being overly pleased, our drinks ran out and so did the waitress. The waitress station was completely across the bar, and I couldn't flag her down. Had to walk my own glass (of soda) to the bar, and asked for a manager. The bartender went to get her, but I waited... and waited... asked again, so the waitress went checked again. The manager was too busy, but had talked to my waitress (who went to the table and spoke to my wife) and they were going to comp my wings and fried pickles (which were also very expensive, for probably half the pickles you get at BWWs). Well, long rant short, poor layout setting up servers for failure, busy managment on slow nights, iffy on the food, and price was a little high... think I'll just stick to...
Read moreI don't have a track record of leaving bad reviews.. but this one was tough.. Walked in on a seemingly slow day... and no one was there to greet or seat me. One server was there for 3 or 4 tables.. saw me.. didn't wave and say hi or anything.. just kept serving people. I went to the restroom to kill time. Came out to find two more people at the wait area. Finally 3 new faces appeared.. lady was nice and quick.. sat me. New person then shows up to take my drink order after I sat for 5 or so minutes. Took another 5 to get my water. Then in the ordering process it seemed like I was annoying for asking any questions. Felt like a drive thru at McDonald's more than a interactive sports bar type area. The app food came around 10 mins later.. was ok.. just coldish.. main food came and it was around the same.. cheese on the fries (which I had no idea would be a "garlic fries", these are cheese fries) the cheese was cold and together. I just took the whole layer off and ate the seemingly cream fries as is. Got one refill on the water.. sort of ate as fast as I could.. and left. Sad, as I was trying to support a regional chain instead of a national one while in town, and now I'll just go to Subway or something for...
Read moreI didn't walk in with high expectations, but definitely was let down overall. Our server was great, he was very friendly, energetic, and on top of it. Good atmosphere too. Looking over the menu there's quite a few options, many of which look sound really good! The prices are really where my issues start. 5 Chicken Tenders is $12.00, and you don't even get a side? A small fry is an additional $3.00 (Not a bad price but I was still disappointed). On top of that the chicken tenders are pretty mediocre- very dry. The fries were good as well as the honey BBQ sauce. But this is not somewhere I would go back to unless friends want to go.
I would also just like to mention for those who are still worried about COVID or that don't like wearing masks that Buffalo Wings & Rings doesn't enforce face masks- they assume if you go in without a mask that you have a medical condition and most of the staff doesn't wear masks. (This does not affect my review, just including it to let...
