Nedley's Ice Cream & Coffee Cafe AKA Hershey's — Restaurant in Perrysburg

We walked in and two employees were behind the counter staring off into space. No greetings and not helping or engaging with the current customers. There was a family and another couple there as well. The employees were not interacting with customers. So I walked up to one and asked, “where is the line” and the employee literally shut down and mumbled “ I don’t know”. So I said “okay, how would you like me to proceed, should I get behind that couple?” and pointed to the couple who still hadn’t been helped. The employee said “ I don’t know what’s going on.”

So confusing and just frustrating to see two employees either not be properly trained to feel confident to help serve customers ice cream, or see two employees just not care at all.

I’m pretty confident and capable individual, so I don’t know if my assertiveness made it worse for the employees. I just can’t believe how this was how the company wanted to be...

I orered a Sweet 16 Birthday cake for my granddaughter. The girls who took my order asked me what kind of cake I wanted, what kind of ice cream, and what color I wanted to use to decorate the cake. After checking with my daughter, I ordered a cake with cookies and cream ice cream, chocolate cake, blue frosting and multicolored sprinklers on the cake. The cake I received was vanilla ice cream, a white cake, and pink frosting. My husband picked up the cake and I thought he got the wrong one but when we looked at the box it had my name on it so I'm not sure what happened. Not sure I will order another special...

My friend and I ordered lattes, but what we got was horrible sweetened sugar water filled with coffee grounds and rude service. I would caution anyone to go anywhere else. The young girls working at the counter seemed as if they were there very begrudgingly and frankly seemed dazed and confused. Considering they’re calling themselves a “coffee cafe” we assumed there would be some decent coffee options, but that’s certainly not the case. I’m not sure what we were served, it wasn’t a “latte” but a waste of time and money when we had to go find drinks...
