Ward's — Restaurant in Petal

I was hopeful that this place was going to have a good Hamburger. (I like to try random small businesses burgers because sometimes you find great burgers). I did not get it like they sell it because it came with weird stuff (which might make this better). I ordered a Lil burger dressed with the normal fixing. The tomato was thicker than the meat. Actually, everything was thicker than the meat. I tossed the tomato and all I tasted was lettuce. The fries were great the price was good. I'm sure they have something worth eating other than the fries. I am not a local. I was in town working. Ward's has the best chilli-cheese burgers and chilli-cheese dogs ever!! Their taco salads and catfish and shrimp plates are pretty awesome as well! My father lives directly behind this location. Thus, I usually go here most of the time. Also, their root beer is unlike any other! I haven't had one in quite awhile, but their rootbeer floats are to die for! Most people that I know that have moved away from here always visit this restaurant everytime they come home to visit relatives or just come back to their hometown. This is one of my favorite fast-food restaurants in this town! I definitely recommend Ward's, especially if you like chilli-cheese!!...

First time going to a Wards and likely the last. The customer service was typical for shoddy fast food. The interior of the restaurant was grungy and dated. I decided to go ahead and just give it a shot. 😑 apparently this location doesn’t serve fish or shrimp… no notification on the website. Ordered our food to go. Got home to find that every order was made wrong. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m pretty sure that every burger patty looked undercooked but there was so much sauce on them that it was hard to tell. Not to mention how paper thin the patties are. This location needs to be shut down or completely...
