We stopped in for a quick dinner. The first thing that hit us when we walked in was the heavy burnt fishy grease smell. There were three customers in the building, two waiting, one party dining in and us. There was what may have been a team lead and another employee who never acknowledged us or the other two customers ahead of us. The shift lead was running back and forth from the front counter to the drive through. The other person kept moving food from one sack to another. Meanwhile the seated customer returned to the counter because her order was incorrect. None of us were ever even greeted or spoken to by any of the employees. We waited about 10 minutes or so and left. The smell of grease saturating our clothing. So, about a week later we thought there's no way this could happen again. There was nobody in the lobby and one car at the drive thru window. We walked in and the stench of old burnt fish grease blasted us. We walked up to the counter and waited...and waited....and waited...I said hello? Is anyone here? The girl at the drive through completely ignored us. The car had already gone, we watched it drive off. The cook kept looking at us but never spike a word. Again, we waited nearly 10 minutes and not once did a server even acknowledge us other than the cook who just kept glancing up from whatever he was doing. Needless to say, we will never ever ever go back to Arby's. What once was a great place for a roast beef sandwich has turned into a less than acceptable food joint. It was filthy, the windows were greasy and hazy, the tables dirty...I honestly can't imagine eating there. Wow....I would recommend avoiding this Arby's at all cost. In hindsight, I've read through the reviews and see the responses from the owner...apologies are nice but your restaurant needs help and your customers are not returning. Sad because Arby's used to be a great fast food place with really quality good fresh food and decent service. This Arby's is completely...
Read moreI worked for Arby's for quite some time until I had a work related injury with the hot oil from the Fry station spilling on to my right hand. I was rushed to the emergency room with a 2nd degree burn and was out of work for a good 5 weeks. During this time I was fighting with arby's for the worker's compensation and was denied that. I was told as well as the nurse who was with me at the time that I stuck my hand in a 450°+ oil on purpose. I did reach out to corporate however was completely ignored by both the management and the corporation. This all happened in November. I quit end of November after being so frustrated by how Arby's handles these types of situations. I email the arby's headquarters to no avail. Now fast forward 2 month's I called the Arby's in Pflugerville to ask for my tax form to file my tax's the girl who answered the phone hung up as soon as I said my name I tried calling back but nobody would answer the phone. So I reached out to Wendy and Melissa only Melissa answered but had no idea about tax forms if they even got sent by mail. I called the hot line for corporate the lady who answered had no clue as to what the corporate number was and just gave me there mailing address basically had no clue how to deal with this type of situation. So I'm left frustrated by the way Arby's handles things this isn't the first time I had a serious problem the month of October I had a new employee threatening me with the back line employee that situation was handled terribly as well. So this is a review I would give them zero stars if that was an option. I hope that my situation can help any past or present employees I would not recomend applying to arby's. When they preach "we'll make it right" it's literally a joke if you have a work injury you'll just be ignored completely and when you call they tell there employees to hang up on you and to not answer the phone just unbelievable so unprofessional I DO NOT...
