McDonald's — Restaurant in Pflugerville

Bad. That's the only way to describe it. There was only a couple of cars ahead of me and when it was my turn to order that was fine also. Made it to the first window to pay and after I paid everything went downhill. I guess these managers don't care too much about their drive thru times anymore because I was waiting for the car in front of me to get their food for at least 5 minutes. Once I made it to the window they gave me a completely different order. I told them what I ordered once again and they were still confused. Then she asked for my receipt and it took them a few more minutes to bring out the correct order. They didn't even give me my receipt back and I had to ask for more sweet and sour sauce. All I ordered was the 10 piece nuggets, large, medium, small fries and a cheeseburger. I try to avoid this location as much as possible because they always have issues with their service. It had been awhile since I've had McDonald's mainly because of these kind of things and I had a taste for some nuggets since I haven't had any for awhile. So if you want to spend at least 10 minutes in the drive thru and your short on time this is the place for you...

We asked if a certain menu item was available, were told that it was, ordered did menu item, got to the window and paid, and THEN they came up and said that it was not available after all. We ordered something else and waited for them to ring that up and refund the original order, but they didn't. We asked about the price difference and were told that what we ordered was a "couple of dollars more" than what we were now getting. Again, I assumed they would be refunding the difference, but they didn't. When I asked for the difference to be returned to me, a manager came to the window and repeated that it was just a couple of dollars...and he walked away. When I asked again for the difference, the manager came back up, pressed some buttons on the other register, turned around and said "Oh, it's only like 20 cents different. Do you want me to do all of that for 20 cents?". After ALL OF THAT, they said to pull up because they were just now cooking the chicken strips that we ordered, and it would be another 5 minutes 🤦‍♀️. I never give one star reviews....but this entire interaction was just a huuuuge customer...

FINALLY!! Kudo's to the owner and staff of this 24 hour McDonalds for having the courage and ballz to ignore the Covid forced suppression of our God given rights of freedom to eat when we are hungry or just plain ol want to... no matter what time of day or night those hunger pains strike. AND.....better sit down and buckle that seat belt because what I'm about to tell you will blow you away.... 1st and foremost...drivethru is 24 hours 2nd ...amazingly...you can hear AND understand the voice taking your order. 3rd...they have had the Ice cream in working order every time I've gone to this McDonalds day and night...and every time they answer with a yes to ice cream I just about go into shock and almost forget to actually order it... Finally...the icing on this cake...they HAVEN'T messed up an order yet!! That's right fellow Texan Americans... you can drive off into the sunset...or sunrise...confident that your bag of munchies is indeed what you ordered!

Oh...almost forgot to tell the location of this slice of freedom is southwest corner of 130 and Gatis School Road in my new hometown of...
