Went here few weeks ago since I’ve never been and wanted to try the burger. Place was pretty packed and got open spot at bar. Got the burger with order of fries , burger came out more well than I wanted like semi hockey puck but missed part where it said charbroiled lol. Was still decent but sad tomato ha. Fries were good with the garlic ranch and the Schneider & Son Aventinus was good beer. Nice dive bar with pool table and nice staff. May have to come back for karoake n try some other stuff, fountain porter burger/fry deal is better , burger, fries, 4 beers was about $55 with tip.

Nice little underground bar that we discovered. My husband and I wanted to explore this area and found this spot. It’s definitely a local hang out spot. Bartender was super nice. They don’t have a lot of things on hand to make specialty cocktails but she improvised and made it work. Beer on tap is good. Prices are great. Decor is definitely an old time, basement, comfy kind of feeling. It’s very dim but cool. Overall we liked it and recommend trying it out.

The service at 12 steps down was great. I don't like the fact that I didn't get to check this place out pre-covid, but when I went, it was just my boyfriend and I there. The service was good, and the food was great too. The tacos are definitely husky and the fried ravioli are super crunchy. I can't wait to go back! Pricing was right up my alley for sure.

If you are looking for discrimination in Philly, you found it. They refused entry to disabled persons because they had real, professionally trained service dogs with them for mobility support, balance, and seizure alerts. They said they were too busy to have them in there. I guess when it's busy it's okay to discriminate against people who you feel may be undesirable and in the way. Disgusting!!! This incident has been reported to the U.S. Department of Justice for a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A service dog is a "medical device" You wouldn't tell someone with a wheelchair that they can't come in because their wheelchair would be in the way. Do you not allow crutches when it's busy either? Maybe you should ban hearing aids during Eagles games. In such a great city, it is disappointing to have walked into this place full of ignorant staff. This incident tarnishes an otherwise great experience in the city of brotherly love, just not...

So, the atmosphere here is GREAT! The crowd was chill, the setting is relaxing and grungy.

But wow, the bartenders are MISERABLE.

My friend and I came tonight, our two beers cost $10. All we had was $10 in cash. We explained this to him, and asked for his Venmo so we could tip. He responded “just don’t tip me then.” And stormed off. He was huskier, with a red shirt, a beanie, an ugly mustache and overly hipster glasses. He was so rude and miserable, I feel sorry for him, but he basically ruined my night.

I asked the other bartender how he was doing, and he just “Alright” and then walked away from me as if I did something wrong. I don’t get why you guys are so uptight, but let me tell you, there is literally no reason to act so unprofessional and immature.

Also, tell that bigger bartender to shave his mustache. He looks creepy. I hope he’s okay and decides to not be rude to random strangers anymore. Look within yourself man, it’s okay to be...

I am a huge Denver Broncos fan. I was wearing a giant Dallas Sucks chain to come and peace with Eagles fans. When there was an Eagles fan who walked into the bar and I was trying to brandish my Dallas Sucks chain (because that is something that we can all agree on), the bartender came up to me was like "we already had a problem with you with someone else (who's a regular there) in the bar because of you being a Broncos fan." I didnt do anything to provoke any kind of behavior like that. My friends and I were talking about the situation that just happened, I guess the bar tender over heard our conversation, and came up asked if I needed anything, and I tried to order another Miller High Life and hes like "nah, I think you're done." My first time ever here in this town, love it here. Especially if you have a giant Dallas Sucks sign, but this bar is the...
