We arrived here at 9pm from the moment we arrive, we were met with aggression, the security, or host guy aggressively told us that they werenât seating anymore, and we had no problem with that, and ordered our drinks on the side like he said then we see them allow other people to be seated and handing the menus all my mother and I want it was a drink for each of us and some crab fries, something that will be finished very quickly they donât close until 10 PM and were seating other people so my mom went up to the same guy and kindly asked if she could just have her drink and fries there since they were seating other people he aggressively says, loudly, making a spectacle, hesitantly,â fine you can sit there, but we have family to go to tooâ pointing at a dirty table me and my mom decided to just let it slide because we wanted to enjoy our drink before flight and whatâs is usually a tradition when we come to the airport we always come to this restaurant, this time we were met with such hostility and aggression that we definitely donât know if we will continue that tradition. The first guy that we talk to went back for a moment and we got our drinks and proceeded to sit down where he said we could. He didnât properly communicate to one of the other staff members, and they felt like it was appropriate to come to paying customers aggressively saying we arenât seating any more loudly having other customers look at us and making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome again. I calmly state to him that we got permission from the other guy and he continue to talk over me saying âwe we arenât seating,â then when he finally listens to what I said rudely says âoh I will go ask him and see about thatâ as if I would lie then he went over found out that he was wrong never apologized, I hear him speaking to other staff loudly saying Iâm not dealing with her she has an attitude for the whole restaurant to hear and when he cleaned a tables next to me I stated to him again and said I wouldnât sit here if I didnât have permission and then he gets rude and loud and says over and over and I donât need the attitude and I calmly say to him neither do I. Iâve never seen an establishment treat paying customers like this and they were in such a rush to get us out and we were already done our drinks by 9:26 and probably couldâve been out of there faster if they werenât so hostile. even the bartender was giving us a hard time about ordering crab fries, while handing menus to other customers who just walked in. My mother and I were repeatedly disrespected, and we kept just trying to be patient and kind and they just kept making a spectacle of us and treating us like we were such an inconvenience and unwelcome. I definitely think that they need higher management to come in and reevaluate the staff representing the company. Theyâre truly lucky that we just didnât walk out.
The security guy was some old bald gentleman. The other server was late 20s early 30s male with mustache. bartender has blonde short hair...
Read moreI was told that as a âparty of oneâ that I would have to sit at the bar. This was okay with me, since the customers were leaving two seats empty between other guests. I placed my bag on the vacant seat closest to me. During my meal, a hostess came over to tell me I needed to put my bag on the floor so that seat could be used. I stated that using a seat that close to me would not allow for social distancing. I was told âthere is no social distancing at the bar.â The bartender further explained, âIf you are willing to come to a restaurant and take your mask off to eat, we assume that you donât care about social distanceâ. I explained that social distancing is even more important when one needs to take off the mask. The bartender said, â I can call a manager over for you, but theyâre going to tell you the same thing.â I asked the bartender if it made sense that I was required to sit at the bar because I was a party of one, and then told that sitting at the bar denies me the safety of social distancing. The answer was yes.
The complete opposite of what the sign said outside the door. âWe are limiting store occupancy to help maintain social distancingâ
No matter how good crab fries and a lobster cheesesteak are⊠itâs not worth being exposed to this level...
Read moreMy husband, my service dog and myself attempted to have a preflight meal at this location inside of the Philadelphia Airport and we're denied access due to my disability preventing me from sitting at regular bar chairs. We requested a booth with the young man in the photo and then with his manager, Jaquell Dobbs, who stated that the booths are reserved only for parties of 4. We expressed that I'm unable to sit at a table due to the blunt edge of the chair causing my feet to go numb from lack of circulation. He continued "I'm just doing what I'm told by the owners. I will get in trouble if I seat a party of 2 in a booth since I'll have to turn away a party of 4 IF they come to the restaurant." I also advised him that it is a violation of federal ADA laws to refuse access to a patron based on their disability. He said, "sorry, it is what it is." I replied "ok" and walked away. This is INFURIATING! Despite it still being illegal to deny access I would have understood had there been a line of people waiting to be seated. There was...
