China House Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I wanted to take my afternoon break at this restaurant that I found randomly on Google. Walked in, all they had were seats but no tables. And they used packing crates to make some sort of "fort" around the counter, so customers could not get close.

I figured I could just order, use the bathroom, and eat in my car. I asked to use the bathroom and then place the order. The young woman who was working there was rude, and basically "shoo'd" me away without even listening to the rest of what I was saying/asking.

Folks, this scenario is a good example of how Chinese people think about us (the rest of us USA citizens and residents): they want to keep us at arm's length, BUT still take our money. Also, Chinese folks are famously unabashedly racist (it's just their culture, same as Japanese hyper-Xenophobia), so I don't know why so many black folks patronize thia particular joint.

Food here is sometimes OK and sometimes not. Sometimes shrimp is a little soggy and sometimes not. Sometimes the food is fresh and sometimes not. But all the time the young lady working behind the counter is not respectful. She treats the homeless people without respect even if someone else is going to pay for their food. She's not a good people person she's often short. I know that her culture teaches her to respect elders she does not do so, as a result I will not ever go back into this establishment again. This has fallen off over the years. Yesterday I went and it was so absolutely filthy that I had to cancel my order, and call the Philadelphia health department. There was unrefrigerated meat all over the store. The front door was wide open and bugs were everywhere. The Chinese lady used the same gloves on the unrefrigerated pre cooked chicken wings, that she used on the open box of flowers, who knows what kind of meat for the general tsos chicken.
