Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I went there to grab a quick bite on the way home since I had gotten off wrk rather late. Mind u they close at 10pm. So I get there at 9:45pm. I pull up and walk up to the door. The two guys that wrk there in the back were standing out front of the door smoking weed. I saw one of the girls was mopping the floor inside. I asked the guys if they were still open. He said to me that the shift leader said they weren't taking anymore customers. I asked why because they weren't supposed to be closed till 10pm. He went inside, spoke with the girl who was the shift leader, then came back out and told me that she said no an that they weren't taking anymore customers, basically repeating what he already told me. Mind u there was still food out to sell. I asked for the shift leaders name and the guy says he doesn't know her name. I said how don't u know ur shift leaders name? I won't be going...

The service was awful. My order was missing a lot of things and I didn't notice it till I got home. It would've taken me 30 minutes to drive back to that Popeye location. I went back three days later to Popeye and told the person that took my order that there were several things missing, and they basically told me to bad to dad. The person that took my order and left my food out look like a girl but I'm not sure if it's a guy or girl. Needless to say, him and the heavy set lady behind the counter refused to give me the food that was missing, which was 4 freaking biscuits and a sandwich. This place suck. I placed a new order since they weren't planning to give me what they left out and the guy that took my order didn't know how to speak English. This chicken sandwich phenomenon is absolutely absurd. The amount of violence that has broken out and negative publicity has overshadowed the sheer Bliss of the sandwich itself. The one great thing that I've seen on social media that I've come from all of this that there was a African-American young man who had decided to ask people to register to vote while they were waiting in line for their chicken sandwich at Popeye's. Thank goodness for lights in dark lands. I myself enjoyed one chicken sandwich and was completely over the fad. I do pray by the time it is reintroduced to society African American people my people would you better as a people. Prayerfully we can support other establishments and not just run after the latest...
