This may be my go to spot for breakfast. I was told the coffee was really good. I decided on the ginger bread chai latte w/oat milk and that was really tasty.

We walked right in and waited a few minutes as another customer placed their order. This gave me time to look around, and try and decide on what I wanted to eat. The menu looked appetizing and it was hard for me to make a selection. I also noticed the pastries that were inside and they too looked good. When I placed my order I then noticed the CASH ONLY sign on the register but luckily there’s an ATM right inside that’s gonna charge you $2.99. I ordered the 2 eggs & cheese w/bacon on brioche bread and the latte. I was offered a complimentary OJ, mimosa, screwdriver or Bloody Mary. Since it was during my work time, I just got the OJ and it tasted fresh, no pulp and it was sweet. After placing my order, I waited outside for the staff member to bring me my meal which didn’t take long at all.

Street parking which wasn’t an issue since it was during the week around 9am. It appeared that there were 3 staff members working at that time, 2 in the front and 1 cooking. They seemed to have had a system going and didn’t miss a beat at all. They were friendly and polite towards us.

They presently don’t offer indoor dining but that’s not a problem. The price and food is good and I didn’t mind sitting in the car and finishing...

I'm new to the area and was looking for a coffee shop that isn't Dunkin donuts. I came for the first time, alone, for a coffee early in the morning at about 10 o'clock on Aug 13. There were no other customers in the cafe. I ordered an iced coffee, and went to put milk in. The two creamers that were out weren't labeled. So I poured cream instead of milk. No big deal. There was a sign for upstairs seating, and I asked the barista if I could sit upstairs. He told me seating is reserved for groups of people eating. Groups of people. So a person out by themselves doesn't deserve a seat at a table?I was a paying customer. I would have drank my coffee and purchased a refill, or another one if refills weren't available. I'll never know.

I think it's really low to discriminate against someone simply because they've come to a cafe alone.

There were other issues too. I'd tried to visit once before and despite the business hours saying they should be open, they were not. I'd gone out of my way to visit a local cafe instead of going to the much closer Dunkin donuts, but after the rude and inconsiderate treatment I received at this Cafe I will not be visiting ever again. There's a cute cafe up a few blocks on Susquehanna, they don't care if I want...

5 stars across the board! This is a lovely spot to grab a bite to eat or a quick coffee to go.

While visiting we decided to come here for breakfast. They were able to seat us quickly with 5 adults and 1 infant. The host, Jake, was kind, attentive, funny, and definitely made our meal a real treat.

The food was fantastic and came out quickly. The menu is extensive and definitely has something to offer for everyone. We never needed to ask for refills on coffee or water, and they checked in with us regularly to make sure we were set.

Additionally, I accidentally left my credit card behind. I am from out of town and reached out to the restaurant through Facebook. Within 24 hours, they responded and were willing to mail me my card. The service and kindness were a breath of fresh air in a world that is often unkind. I will definitely be making an effort to go back any time...

We are not in Kansas anymore Toto!! The Hangover Cheesesteak!! Holy Mackerel!! What a place!! What a cheesesteak!! THEY DON’T HAVE A LIQUOR LICENSE SO THE BLOODY MARYS ARE FREE!! The muffins in the picture with our free Mimosas (we opted for the free mimosas) are FREE!! The Hangover Cheesesteak you have to buy to get the freebies, $9.75 and Ab-so-freaking-lute-ly fantabulous!! They describe their creation better than I can so straight from the menu; 3 fried eggs, cheddar, & homemade hash with peppers and onions on a garlic buttered long roll with fresh lettuce, tomato, & onion Quarter pound of shaved steak. Cooked too perfection and served by the nicest person, Nicole. I’m not a fan of pillows on the bench seat while I’m eating my breakfast but i guess they were a nice design feature. PS a clean fun bathroom matters and when you have one I am going to take a picture in it!!

Coffee House Too - Everything you’d want in a neighborhood brunch spot. Enter through the front and you’re greeted by friendly baristas. Seating is upstairs, probably around 8 tables, seating for 25ish. Vibe is like you’re sitting at your Mom’s breakfast nook. Servers were super nice. (Josh and Lucas) Offered water with lemon OR cucumber (what???). They have coffee drinks (I had a vanilla latte and they asked if I wanted cinnamon or nutmeg, adorbs) Eva had iced coffee. Strong. Don’t tell anyone but they offer free mimosas, Bloody Marys, or OJ. The main event. Food was sooo good. I had the pastrami hash (griddled pastrami, peppers, potatoes, Swiss, and three fried eggs). Eva had a MASSIVE veggie breakfast burrito (all the veg, egg, cheddar, and homemade pico). Support this amazing small business! #brunch #philly #phillyfood #brunchinphilly #fishtown
