DiNapoli Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

⚠️ DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! ⚠️ I just had an AWFUL experience. I ordered my food around 9pm on Grubhub and it told me it would arrive in approximately 40-50 mins. It arrived 1hr10mins later.

Upon opening my food I noticed the styrofoam was melted. When I picked up the food inside I noticed it was cold and soggy. The fries were wet and so were the chicken fingers. You can see the beads of water in the pictures. The mozzarella sticks were also wet, cold and the cheese inside was hard. I ordered a diet ginger ale and they delivered a regular ginger ale without asking if it was okay to substitute.

So I call the restaurant to see what they can do about my order. The first time, they answered and hung up. So I called again, this time I was placed on hold for about 10 minutes. At this point I’m fuming. The girl answers the phone and asks for the name on the order. I tell her my name, she then proceeds to talk to a co-worker about it as I hear laugher in the background. She asks what was wrong with the order, so I tell her it was cold and soggy. SHE ONCE AGAIN LAUGHS WITH THE CO-WORKER. After this I think she realized I wasn’t on hold and puts me back on hold. I found this all to be extremely unprofessional.

After all of this she tell me they will only be able to send a new order to my house; but, I would have to repackage the old order and return it to the driver. I am beyond angry right now because with the way the girl and her friend were behaving on the phone I would not put it past them to spit in my food. Also, I work tomorrow at 5am and what should have been a quick meal has now turned into a 2hr+ ordeal. I will say with confidence that I will NEVER order from this place ever again. I want to update my review. Today I ordered the spinach panzorotti. Usually I get raw dough due to it being under cooked. I started asking for it well done to almost burned and finally it's cooked better. Tonight, the ricotta cheese has an odor, it's got a bad taste. We called to ask them to make good, but because they say that the cheese is good due to the date on the container, they wouldn't do anything. The cheese is upsetting my stomach because I had started eating it from one end. We have been ordering from them for over 6 years, I guess this is our last order.

Everything is always messed up. So you call them and they say they'll send out new and never ever do. We've even had the manager tell us he'll send something out and Never does it come! This place is the worst. Their food is just good enough. It gets to the door cold, never correct and they do NOTHING about it. It doesn't matter whether the order is through Grubhub, their app or over the phone! Finding a better place. I ordered a meatball parm, got a chicken sandwich!!!! I'm on Keto, I can't eat the bread, but I got a breaded chicken sandwich! Ordered a pizza cheese steak with mushroom, got a cheese steak pizza! Done!

Gave you another chance. Still, two hours in and I still haven't received the fries I was waiting for you to bring out. My husband's chicken was fried hard.....means super crunchy, overcooked! Got one of the specials and the price for everything was pretty good considering I got a ton of food for close to $40 with delivery included. Some of the freshest and well seasoned french fries I've gotten from this spot. They were also crunchy and not under cooked and soggy like most pizzeria spots so that was great touch to the meal. The cheesesteak was actually pretty good too, it wasn't the typical cheesesteaks you see around the city trying to be fancy but it was good in flavor. Was a bit on the smaller size as the fillings were stuffed over the top but that could be a good thing as the bread was soft with a nice toast that held it together nicely.

Once the lady said they had mango haberno I instantly had to go with it and honestly it didn't disappoint but wish the wings had a bit more sauce so it covered both sides of the wings well. Had a an overcook wing and some that were a little soggy in the batch but overall the wings had a good size. Now the pizza was just a complete miss and was super undercooked for my liking. Guess the driver hit a hard turn cause the cheese was basically falling off the pie when I opened the box and the amount of pepperonis was just not enough for a large.
