Rico Mexican Tacos La Raza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Ok this is definitely a Mom & Pop dive joint. It's a lil rough around the edges and may not look very appealing BUT the inside has magic. Whom and whatever is making the barria tacos 🌮 😋 has the winning ticket. I randomly was searching for something on door dash for lunch while I was at work. I chose it for pick up when I got in honestly was about to turn around but the picture, although it doesn't do it justice, looked appetizing. All in all I went through with it. Not even gonna lie, I’ve never left a review ever in my life but by all means this BS restaurant needed one. For starters you walk in this place and it smells like a basement, seriously. You can hear food being cooked but you can’t smell it because of the overwhelming stench of the place. The tostadas shells were stale and tasted old, the lettuce in the burrito was so soggy and chewy it was disgusting. Seriously one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve been too. They’re selling random stuff in TVs, perfumes lol. Not to mention they’re expensive, there’s a Mexican food truck on 3rd and Allegheny with MUCH BETTER food and much better pricing. Great food amazing guacamole and homemade tortillas got about 3 or 4 different orders and pays about 30 bucks not bad at all. Got a surprise nacho salad which didn't come with guac so I ordered a side of it . I got those meet filled tortillas rolled up and fried forgot the name but my mom didn't put sour cream so dry but when I diped with guac it was good. Also they have spicy shredded meat I wouldn't with my nachos but she let me taste and it was great. The staff are nice we even bought Victoria secret locations for 10 bucks a PC n they're homemade lemonade is delicious 😋 my new spot ever since the mex place on b and Tioga fell off majorly I think 4 seasons mix pla e it's called.
