Update:

Dottie’s has been my favorite donut spot lately—I’ve pretty much been to every location except one. Today (02-08-25) was my second time at the Springfield location, and honestly, the donuts just weren’t up to the usual standard. I try something new each visit plus a reliable favorite, but the dough (for the pistachio and vanilla glazed [not pictured] ) felt either overbaked or off in some way. It definitely wasn’t like my past visits to this location or the ones on 6th Street and Rochelle. I’m hoping it was just an off day, though, because I’d hate to slow down my visits. As a non-vegan, I’m a big fan of their vegan sweet treats & coffee partnership. Taking back a star.

Went to this location today. Pleased with the service.

I tried the Apple Fritter it was good! Even better once I warmed it up. I appreciate it not being overpowering and having a nice balance of flavor.

The “Chef Liz Special” was a chocolate glazed donut topped with a strawberry-flavored brownie. Not too bad.

My overall favorites so far: Vanilla Glazed, Blueberry Glazed, Rosemary Glazed, Lemon Poppy and Apple Fritter.

I'm not sure if all locations have the same menu each day. However, it appears that this location has more flavor options. But I...

I have a family member who is a rabid consumer of vegan confections. Her birthday wish this year was to treat herself to a delicious serving of vegan doughnuts.

We have our favorite sources, but they are too far away to pick up regularly. Scouring the internet for alternative sources had led me to Dottie's. They serve exclusive vegan goods not just constrained to doughnuts.

I took home a dozen of assorted flavors (of which are determined du jour), enduring the worst kind of morning traffic in Philadelphia.

The appearance of my goods seemed ideallic. Good presentation, great aroma. Strangely served in a pizza box though.

Cutting into them at home during our day of celebration was enjoyable, but left us slightly wanting.

The flavors were subdued and a little monotonous across each variant. Flavor profiles seem largely determined to the icing/glaze used, as the base seemed identical for each flavor variant.

Furthermore, there was obvious proofing issues of the dough, as some of them had large pockets of air when bitten into.

I was quite sad there were no true chocolate offerings for the base dough.

All in all they satisfied our craving for the day, but I will be trying other suppliers for...

I grew up in this community and I have been supporting vegan businesses that have recently popped up in the area. My mom and I decided to try this place for the first time and our experience was not great. The young lady at the front was not pleasant at all. She was short and not welcoming and I’m curious as to why. Most vegan establishments that I go to in the area are really friendly welcoming and will answer any questions about their products and or goods served at their business. I’ve been getting a lot of people in my community to try different Vegan restaurants in the area and have told them my experience here and how terrible it was, so this is definitely not one I would recommend. Why wouldn’t you want to be kind to people who want to support your business and can attract other customers? I’m known in my community and tell others how being Vegan can be expensive yet rewarding but I won’t recommend places that don’t have great customer service skills but want to...

A neighborhood shop that specializes in 100% VEGAN donuts? It's about TIME! I have tried multiple flavors there, including a Boston Creme donut labeled to have been "made with Tom Brady's tears" after the Eagles won the Super Bowl! I was sad I missed the opportunity to try their "greased pole" donut that was sold just before the Eagles' winning game, but I'm sure they will bring it back in the future. My standard favorite at Dottie's (that they also outsource to other neighborhood coffee shops) is the Homer donut (pink frosting and sprinkles just like from The Simpsons) , though whenever they offer something new and unique (such as the Hibiscus donut in the photo), I usually give it a try. As my best friend has been a vegan since birth, I am ALWAYS in search of new and exciting places to go for food if she ever comes to visit; on that note, I will DEFINITELY take her to Dottie's!

🍩 Amazing VEGAN donut shop!!! Vegan or not- come here for banging donuts! They have everyday staples like traditional vanilla, chocolate etc but also do fun & special flavors each day! It’s so fun that they are always making & creating new flavors- seriously so fun! They post their flavors each day on social media to check out. We stopped in for a half dozen & loved every flavor! The donuts are fresh- soft- & large! I have been to many vegan donut shops around the country and Dotties is in the top 3 fave - hands down! Yuuuummmmmmm!
