Dunkin' — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Just went there about 30 mins ago. Spent almost $9 on a medium hazelnut swirl iced coffee with extra cream extra sugar and a Texas toast grilled cheese. There was what tasted like NO sugar in there as well as barely any cream. And whatever they put in it for the "swirl" tasted to be absent too. The grilled cheese tasted like there were chemicals on it and was barely toasted. I tried toasting it more myself and putting salt on it but I couldn't even eat it due to the chemical smell and taste. I also ordered 2 donuts that were going to be for later. That was the only thing that tasted ok, not the usual, just ok. I tried calling the store to speak to a manager but the number listed is I believe a fax number. The young man in the drive through was very courteous though. That was the ONLY thing decent about this last experience. I WILL be back there tomorrow to try and get my money back. I literally drove there just for that. I will not be going back there which is really unfortunate because it's only a few blocks away from my home. I spoke to Lori the Supervisor and she was very apologetic and said she would reimburse me for my drink and sandwich. Got the dunkin combo which is a sandwich and hashbrown and hot coffee for 6 bucks. Sandwich was good, came as I requested toasted and hot. However, hashbrowns were old and cold as if they were from yesterday. Coffee was old and lukewarm and just not good. Being that I went in person I thought it would be better. The prices are better than grubhub in person. Service was the only good part. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is non existent. There are no tables inside anymore to sit and eat its pretty much takeout or drive thru. Go to the Mayfair Diner down the street...better coffee and food and...

I haven't been in a Dunkin in ages, due to logistics. In the neighborhood of this Dunkin, walked in to get a Vanilla Creme doughnut. It was extremely fresh. I also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich; it comes with a variety of cheeses on rye, yum. Judging from the out in the street drive-thru, around noon, they have many satisfied customers. The in-store staff were pleasant. If I'm in the area again, I'll make note to stop in her again. The four star because the coffee didn't taste as great as I remember Dunkin's to be. Still better than that tar foisted off as coffee...
