Me and my wife just ordered dinner here, as we like their food....especially their Burgers. We went in the restaurant last time, this time, regretfully so, we chose delivery. We utilized Doordash for our delivery service. The delivery was good with one exception. And Doordash was quick to deliver. The problem was....Five Guys messed up our order by forgetting one of our Milkshakes! This, does happen, and understandingly so....to an extent. I questioned the delivery person, which he said was unaware, and nicely appologized. But he could have offered to call the Restaurant for us, as I'm sure restaurants are in his list of contacts that they do business with. But left without a word to that regard. But clearly could see I was not happy with the situation. Now, decided to call Five Guys, at 2552 Grant Av./Grant and Roosevelt Boulevard. Despite 3 separate attempts, to which, makes no sense, especially in the latter hours of the Business Day. They aren't as busy, they only have an answering machine, ...to NO AVAIL! NO PERSON EVER ANSWERED. NO ONE EVER TRIED TO GET BACK TO ME. NO TEXT. NO NOTHING! DESPITE HAVING LEFT A COUPLE OF MESSAGES! WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE YOU RUNNING, TO NOT HAVE PICKED UP GIVEN 3 SEPARATE CHANCES, OVER VARIOUS INCREMENTS OF TIME?! I DON'T CARE HOW BUSY, NOR SUCCESSFUL A RESTAURANT IS. YOU FIND A WAY TO ANSWER THAT PHONE....REGARDLESS! Not to mention, it adds a personal touch by doing so. IT SAYS, NO MATTER HOW BUSY WE ARE ..YOU ARE OUR CUSTOMER. WE CARE. AND WE THANK YOU. I feel Five Guys are lacking, AND slacking, in that regard. So in closing, be careful when choosing delivery with them. Check to see if they got your order complete....because, apparently...they don't! And I will be VERY hesitant choosing to go with them again. Regardless of physically going there, or ESPECIALLY DELIVERY! It only takes ONE TIME with me and my wife when conducting a business. One should, I believe, make EVERY CUSTOMER FEEL SPECIAL, BY TREATING THEM LIKE THAT THEY ARE THEIR ONLY ONE....EVERY TIME. BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. OH, AND DID I MENTION, IN OUR BAG OF FOOD, WHICH WAS STAPLED. WAS AN EMPTY CUP, THAT SOMEONE WAS USING AS A SPIT CUP FOR SUNFLOWER SEEDS! AS EVIDENCE OF SOME SHELLS BEING LEFT BEHIND, STILL STUCK TO THE INSIDE OF THE CUP....REAL NICE....RIGHT?! HOW'S THAT FOR A PROSPEROUS, AHHHH..PROFESSIONAL...
Read moreOn father's day this was a perfect place. This place is usually booming so please dont confuse when I say on father's day it was so empty. We did not have to wait in any line to order pr be seated . With 5 kids it was a major blessing to not have to wait. We had just come from olive garden who told us to wait 45 mins and then went to try nifty fifties and didn't even go in cause the lot was so packed. Here there was maybe 1 personified and then us.
My only complaint is litterally after sitting everyone down my kids needed to use the bathroom so before I ordered I wanted to handle them and the one lady was like you have to order some thing so just kindly explained that yes I had sat everyone down to obviously eat but we needed the restroom first n the yea she let me go cause us hello right lol but she did let me after the explanation so it was great. Food is always amazing. The staff is actually pretty friendly.
It can be pricy but if you know how to make it work then you'll stay under 100 bucks for 7 ppl (5 kids...
Read moreThe best burger I've ever had. I love the sandwich and fries so much. I order them almost every weekend.
The only complaint I have is about a situation I witnessed at the location, more specifically at the Grant establishment. I arrived at the location to pick up my order and there was no one there to serve us. But that's okay, because we waited patiently because we weren't in a hurry and the lady was in the back cutting some ingredients. When the lady came back to the front, another employee came to serve us and was extremely rude and impolite to the employee because she was in the back. I thought it was very unprofessional of the employee to be rude to the employee in front of the customers and speak in a loud voice. I think that any comment made to an employee should be made in private and not in front of the customers so that the other person feels humiliated. That was the only thing that disappointed me. I thought the lady's attitude was unprofessional. But other than that, I love their food and I always...
