Do not buy anything from this store. They use false advertising and deceptive business practices. I say this bc I placed an on line order for a McCluer Sofa and paid it in full. I called them & asked where I should go, the showroom or loading dock as I have a paid in full receipt. They told me to come to showroom. The salespeople were scattered around the store and the two people behind the sales deck appeared to be busy so my brother and I strolled around the store. The sofa I ordered and paid for was not on display which is fine bc I currently own a McCluer Sofa which I bought about 10/15 years ago. I saw that one of the people behind sales desk was free. We walked over and I started to tell him why I was there and he cut me off saying here she comes. I looked up to see who was coming and it was a sales girl named Lacey. I explained that I was there to pick up my sofa and was asked my name. Lacey walked over to the fax machine picked up and fanned out the papers that were on the fax machine and said they did not receive my “fax” & in order for her to help me she needed one. I told her that she needed to find it bc it had my information on it. She said she needed me to “go over there and create a new order and I’ll make sure you don’t get charged 2x. She told me to email her the receipt I had and shouted “I see what’s wrong it didn’t go thru” which she must be magical to be able to look at a piece of paper and know that! She only looked for it on the fax machine. She did not check the system nor did she check to see if the fax was jammed or out of paper. I was very reluctant to do what she said I must do but they already had my money. I created the order and when I received the receipt I saw that the payment was brought over but now the time is displayed in PCT instead of our time and the item description was changed from a McCluer Sofa to just a sofa. I questioned her and was told not to worry the system did that. I’m not stupid I know a system spits out what you put into it and I immediately knew they were up to something bc when I began talking to her about 6 salespeople were gathered around the sales desk to watch her performance in how to deceive people. My. brother who was with me mentioned it to me when we left the store. Anyway, Lacey did manipulate my order not just for the payment but for the sofa itself. I ordered it in Mocha but I was given a sofa in black and gray. The mfr said the collection was only made in two colors, Mocha and a light slate gray both solid colors. Never in black and gray and that those sofas were discontinued six years ago. He said the item was mistagged by the mfr and sold to retailers with full disclosure of the problem. The next day Lacey created another order in my name and manipulated it as she had done on my order. The only invoice reflected in their SOR was the one Lacey created. According to the law, they must upload ALL documents in case of an investigation and for audit trail reasons. I called them was told “you got what you ordered” and then was either left on hold and they never returned or I was hung up on. This happened most every time I called. I did tell them I wanted a full refund as I was entitled to as long as I did it according to their return policy at the time of the sale. The owner was aware of what was going on and he sent me an email as I had gotten tired of being told “you got what you ordered” and being hung up on and the owner did not want anything documented. I had a terrible feeling that they were going to try and make me at fault so I copied all of their policy’s just in case. I told them I was bringing it back as per there policy and they went in and changed the policy. They refused to take back the sofa every time I told them I was going to bring it back. At first I told them to come get it but since I picked up I was returning it and was told “we are not taking it back” I then called visa and filed a claim. These few weeks have been a struggle, but they stuck by me and came up with a resolution. For that I will change my rating from 1 to 5. This concludes my mini series with Best buys furniture. So after my last interaction. I was called to the store as I inspected the furniture. It was in good condition. They delivered it on 2-17-19. The delivery guys came in and set it up. I contacted the store on 2-18-19 and spoke to (lady at counter) she said she issued me a credit for $100. I have yet to see such credit. I assume she did it. I am trusting she is a woman to her word. I still have not been contacted by the owner for any apology. My next step is to copy this thread to YELP. I will gladly stop once they fulfill their end of the arrangement. Thank you

THE INCOMPETENCE CONTINUES...WENT TO THE STORE 1-28-19 @ 520 TO discuss compensation with the owner as he noted he would be there, and if not, his employees should contact him. The employees took me and showed me the alleged new furniture that was ordered. In fact, it was the original which was declined by me. I knew this because I had emailed them pictures with same damages on December 7 2018. He finally admitted it was the original. I said "where is the owner?" They told me he went home just before I got there. I asked them to call him. They noted they will not call him for something like this. I told them I don’t want a new delivery and a $100, because I would have to take off a 5th time from work. No one could guarantee the 5th order would not be damaged. I wanted more in cash for all my troubles. They didn't want give me anymore cash and just wanted to make another deliver of furniture. I agreed on a new delivery since I had no other choice. The lady was nice and explained what she can guarantee. A delivery on a Sunday. I would go to the store and inspect the new item before delivery. And they would provide me $100. If this 5th delivery Is not right. I Will need a minimum of $300 to be compensated for all my troubles. Taking off from work 4x and traveling back and forth to the store. Where are you Mr. Owner? Be available for your customers....

Still not happy. Please talk with Jose V. NEVER AGAIN. On November 26th 2018. I (BELL) went and purchased a 6 PC sectional. It has now been 4 deliveries up until today Jan 27th 2019, and they still have yet to get it right. I have been patience and understanding for the past 2 months. Now I am no longer going to take this incompetence. Back story...it looks like the 4th delivery someone tried to cover up the damage with a black marker (Really!!!). I will not stand here and take this anymore I am also missing a power cord the console. I need something done...I will not take off any more time from work, as I am losing money. I should have listened to my inner self and purchased from Raymour Flanigan. How do you handle this type of situation? If you fail to get it right, I just want some compensation at this point. Also, please don't blame this damage on the drivers. Sadly, I have to look at this damage as long as I own this furniture. Not to mentioned they gave me a make shift power supply and told me to put a hole in my console in order to make it work....

Me and my wife decided to purchase a sectional couch and was told by the dishonest sales associate "Mike" that the couch would be ready in about "10 days" called week after week and there dates kept changing saying Ashley is busy blah blah blah and finally they told me according to there computer that the LOAD date would be April 30th mind you that we had already been patient for one month and by the time we would get our couch would be 9 weeks or more. I had to come in the store in person and argue and ask for a different couch and the nerve of the sales associate let's call him "Mike" was making out the whole situation as our fault and seemed irritated that he couldn't move on to other customers while talking and handling our situation. Finally I just said can I just get a full refund and Mike was telling me "well if that's what you want it's gonna be a 25% restock fee!" To me what restock fee would be justifiable if the couch hasn't even left the warehouse and it would take another 3 weeks for it to leave. So after there attempt to steal money from me the other customer service representative said he would talk to management and thankfully they were able to issue me a full refund. I'm happy to leave with a full refund for I would have filed a police report on theft and burglary had they charged me the obscene 25% restock fee. Anyhow to make an awful dragged out situation short, the sales associate "Mike" was super dishonest and just an all around true scumbag. I'm just glad I could get my money back and leave this place. I ended up getting a new couch directly from Ashley where I picked a couch and it was delivered in 4 days, however according to Mike because of tax season this was not possible and he also added irrelevant information telling me he hasn't even received his furniture yet! Like how is that information relevant or important to me?! Anyways I'm sure some people have had some good experiences with them, however I did not. Im just losing energy as I write this review for I'm trying not to relive this horrible experience. I also told the sales associate niceley that I was sorry that I wanted a refund but that me and my wife just didn't want to purchase anything at the store that couldn't be delivered in a timely manner and apologized to him that giving me a full refund would take away from his commission, he then shouted at me "I get 1% BRO!" At that point I was just so shocked that i just wanted to get the hell out of there, I don't care what his commission % was, he was trying to insenuate to me that my purchase was'nt making him that much money or something of that nature, beyond unprofessional.
