I see some reviews on here talking about the friendly staff, not the experience I'm having at the moment. I walk in to a few glances from the staff (no welcoming, which in this area I'm used to and it's fine.) I walked around for a bit looking for a menu that wasn't visible when you come in, and zero concern of the young lady at the register. After I locate the menu and decide on my order I stood there patiently awaiting a "may I take your order?" Aaaaaand nope. So after a minute of nothingness I call to her and get waved over. After placing my order and paying for my food I still get nothing from her. Now I'm a little annoyed, no "thank you", "here's your change", "it'll be right up" NOTHING!!! dead stare and that's it. Sooooo, now here comes the food! I hear my name, go claim my food and NOTHING!!!!!! And I haven't even tried the food yet! I gave 3 stars because the food was pretty good. But not, be rude to your...
Read moreI read the reviews on here befor ordering and I wonder if these were hired reviews . I ordered 2 cheesesteaks one with pickles and 1 one caramelized onions. And fries with cheese on the side. We asked how long for delivery and they said they were very busy so 45 minutes to an hour . So we decided to pick up .We get there everyone's just standing around, don't look so busy. The counter girl just stood there and said oh everything's on the side (ketchup etc) my cheese steak had no pickles and was very dry and had onions I didn't order. My fiances cheese steak had raw onions on it instead of caramelized. The cheese was very weird tasting (side cheese)(French fries). The fries came in a plastic container which sweated all over the fries and sogged them all up. Deffinatley wouldn't...
Read moreMy first time at Frank’s today. The place is clean, modern feeling and has an overall good presentation. The. Customer service was excellent. The cheesesteak was awesome including rib-eye meat with good flavor and taste. When it comes to steaks a lot of people put a hug emphasis with the roll. The roll at Frank’s is fresh, on the softer side but perfect for what I like in a cheesesteak. I get my steaks with American cheese and light fried onions. A lot of out of towners visit philly and want to taste Phillys legendary cheesesteak’s. My advice is keep it basic don’t add a bunch of vegetables and unnecessary nonsense to the recipe. To conclude Franks has earned its place with some of the best cheesesteaks in Philly. Go...
