So, Gaetano’s has a buffalo chicken pizza that I absolutely love. I ordered it today and was immediately disappointed when I opened the box and saw blue cheese (I hate blue cheese) all over my pizza!! Like, WHY IS THAT THERE??
When I called to complain about it, I was told that’s what they always do and that it says it in the menu. If they always put blue cheese on their buffalo pizza, they somehow always skipped mine, because that’s never happened!
After reading their updated menu, I noticed that it actually doesn’t mention blue cheese next to the buffalo pizza. It only mentions the buffalo sauce that they use.
I called back to tell them what I found in their updated menu. After the manager looked at the menu himself, he offered to replace the pizza without the blue cheese free of charge. I also did not have to drive back to get it because he offered to have it delivered to me. That was so super awesome of him!!
An hour later, the pizza was delivered & it was still hot. Perfect, right?
No!!
The second jawn was even worse! Like, why does it have to look like someone went out front to get some dirt to throw on top of my pizza?? What in the gravel, pieces of cinder blocks, dirty sand from Atlantic City is going on here??
I went through all of that just to be Back At One with Brian McKnight!

Read moreI went to this place based on IG reels and the fact that it was close to me. I'm always looking for Indian fusion food and the reel made me pretty hungry for the chicken tikka pizza. The name Gaetano's doesn't exactly scream authentic Indian food, but I was willing to give it a shot.
Ambience wise - this spot has more of a takeout vibe than dine-in (nothing wrong with that). The person at the counter was really nice. I ordered a chicken tikka pizza and a chicken wrap and decided to wait there... and it was a long wait (almost 40 mins). It sounded like my delay was unusual so I let it slide.
The food itself was okay. The chicken tikka could've used a bit more Indian-ness aka spicy. It tasted decent but not what I'd hoped it would be. The wrap was decent. Nothing special, nothing bad. It had unusually large chunks of lettuce which we found amusing.
the first time didn't make enough of an impression so I plan to go once more before I decide if it is gonna be a regular spot for us or not. I'll update the review if the next visit goes better.
P.S.: the tikka pizza can be made vegetarian with paneer although the menu...
Read moreYo please let me preference this with my reason for choosing this place was because of the good reviews I saw. I haven’t tried the food yet but the girl at the counter is LOSING YALL MONEY!!! She is rude, negligent towards the business. I called for delivery and she picked up and put the phone on hold w/o saying anything. When I called back she hung up and then ignored the calls. When I came in and asked her about not picking up she said it’s not her business so she don’t care. Then I watched her put people on hold while she wasn’t doing anything then came back to the phone literally 5 min later and the person hung up. As I waited for my food this happened 3 times then to end it all she gave me someone else’s food. I’m not trashing the restaurant as I am directing this towards the heavy set woman at the counter. The fact that she doubled down and literally said this isn’t her business and stood there looking at me with her arms raised to signal she doesn’t care, shows utter disregard disrespect for the customers the owners. As a GM of a retail store she should be fired...
