I have been going to She by Ray since 2018 she is more than just a hair stylist. When you walk into the salon especially when you’re not a confident person her personality embraces you with comfort. Her professionalism & knowledge sets the tone for her skill & talent. Her salon is a vibe. It’s not the neighborhood barbershop where you hear everyone around town business. It’s very peaceful and serene. The cleanest of the salon matches the stylist. Her hair is always done nice & neat. Her clothes are nice & well kept. She’s always in her unique very stylish uniform. I’ve never encountered a problem with my hair. I always brag about Raydean. Her skill is unique. This picture is the evolution of my hair in a 1year span. And still have healthy hair. I wish I could respond to the negative review but Google doesn’t allow that. Anyway, I have been going to Raydean for quite a few years and I must say I am loving the evolution of her as a stylist. Being a nurse and well versed on hygiene, I was more than excited to learn that she did not agree to curl hair that was done more than 5 hours later. How is she to know that a person did not engage in activity that would cause hair to sweat, thus becoming dirty? It’s a shame that someone would leave such a poor review for a stylist that is exercising proper salon practices. I have had my hair cut short, colored, have grown it out, all by She by Ray. I had natural hair and locs for over 20 years before deciding I needed a change. I saw quite a few stylists in Philadelphia on Instagram but Ray stood out. I’m so glad I decided to trust her with my hair. She is the consummate professional and you quickly learn that if you cannot follow established rules that this is not the salon for you. I can’t express how much I appreciate not having to spend an entire day in the salon just waiting to get washed. She respects your time and expects you to respect hers by showing up on time for your appointment. I love the energy in the salon. There is no gossip and it is extremely orderly and clean.
