I’ve ordered spicy and sour glass noodles for 4 times and other dished BUT this time everything is just changed in a bad way. The glass noodles just lost their magic and became so PLAIN and not good anymore, the other dishes are even worse! The fried beans used for glass noodle were definitely expired already —they are hard as rocks. The oil that you used for pork intestine and duck blood is definitely of bad quality because I feel sick now after eating a few slices of them—the dirty red oil is just not the way it should be:) Besides, the fact that I spent 29usd for 10 slices of intestine and duck blood is ridiculous —you can become a millionaire by selling this because you earn 29usd by selling nothing. mouth watering chicken made me lose my appetite as soon as I opened the lid and it was not good indeed. How could you mess up with everything? You used to be the best Chinese food around campus in my ranking though you are more expensive than the average. but this time I dumped everything I ordered and decided I would never...
Read moreI bookmarked this place because I wanted to try out some new Szechuan food. And since I’m around the area, my friend and I decided to try this place out. First impression of the place is, it’s small. Definitely a family owned business, one of those mom and pop shop kinda restaurants. The price seems slightly high for such a small store but probably because it’s close by or around University City. But overall, their food does taste pretty good, not bad if you into Szechuan and spicy food.
My husband and I particularly enjoyed the beef hot pot. It was delicious! Spicy but still so yummy! It was somewhat pricey for us when we saw the dish cost $25, but when the dish arrives, we realized there are clear noodles underneath all the veggies and beef. That one dish got a decent portion too. I had a spicy wonton appetizer and i am very full sharing the beef hot pot with my husband. If I do come back, most likely we will...
Read moreCame here for dinner on a Sunday, all the food were authentic chengdu/sichuan and very tasty, would definitely recommend going here if there is a chance!
They only had limited services due to covid, which means that you would need to place your order via barcode scan, then pay at the register when you are all done.
We got the White Meat w/ Garlic Puree and the Wonton in Chicken Soup as our appetizer. The white meat was quite sweet and not as spicy as I would have hoped but still very tasty. The wonton was very soft with quality meat and good flavoring.
For entree items we got the Eggplant w/ Garlic Sauce and Sliced Beef in Sour Soup. The eggplant was delicious and different from the usual restaurants, it literally melt in your mouth. The slices beef was not quite as excellent but still above average, would have loved for it to...
