Been here a few time now. Normally it’s quite pleasant, however it’s was significantly worst today. We order two New York Strip steak, one medium and one medium rare. Both were burnt to different degrees on the surface. The medium rare were fine, you can taste the bitterness of the burn surface but it is still edible. However for the medium one it was burnt to the point where all you can taste is the bitterness in every bite. We sent it back and I think that was what cause server to be so hostile. When we sent it back she responded with something along the line of it’s the glaze that cause the taste, and it’s not for everyone. Which we think is just bullshit to make us think we’re the issue.

When the one they remade were bring to table. She said it’s made without the glaze. However not only was it not to the wellness we requested it is also burned. We didn’t want to make a scene and it’s a shop we really liked, so when the server ask was it better, we said it’s fine. Even though it has the same exact issue with last time. This time even worst because it is served without the “glaze.”

We are not having a good experience at that point but we were still able to brush it off since it not like the end of the world to be served burned food. What really disgusted us was when the recipe was brought to us. There was a 12 dollar mandatory tips added to the that mediums steak we ordered. Not to the whole bill just to that steak. The server said it is placed on all meal pass 50 dollar. Which we both took it as a lie. Since not only is it not displayed anywhere it is also not present for our past orders.

We decided to be a better person and pay the bill, but I think we’re probably not gonna go...

I took my mother, my sister and my brother to Gino's for dinner to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. This is where my mother wanted to go. We had been here previously and enjoyed our dinners. During the meal I asked our waitress to add some take-out to our bill. My brother ordered a tomato pie and I ordered a steak Stromboli with cheese extra sauce and pepperoni. Our dinner was very good and the service was very good. I had ordered my take-out for the next night for when I got home from work to have to eat during the Eagle's game. I looked forward to it all day. I LOVE pizza and Stromboli. I reheated the Stromboli and put the game on and I was set for the night. After a couple of bites of the Stromboli I realized to my dismay that there was no steak inside. I know I ordered it with steak because I always do and the waitress repeated my order to me. I was incredibly disappointed! The next day I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. A man got on the phone and I explained what happened. He said that it was two days ago and that he would have to take my word for it and he didn't know what he could do for me. Seriously!?!? This was the manager and he didn't know what to do! He eventually settled on crediting me for the steak portion of the Stromboli the next time I went to the restaurant. I've decided that he can keep the credit. I will not be returning to this establishment. That really is a shame because the 6 or 7 times that I have eaten there it was always a good meal for everyone combined with very...

This place doesn't need a review. In fact I'm dissapointed at myself for not finding Gino's sooner.

If you're from the NE, then you already know that's there's a pizza shop on every corner for every palate and at every price point.

We were in the mood for pizza one week and decided to give Gino's a try. A little time has past since we had pizza and I was watching food reviews all night so now it was 9pm and I was really craving a slice. I made a call and 15 minutes later my pie was ready for pickup.

First impressions...beautiful looking pie. I love the blisters on the crust and cheese. I ordered both mushrooms and sausage and there are ample toppings on the pie. Nice quality cheese with good amount of grease and plenty of pull with a little chew..which is how I like it. The sauce really shines, saucy with tomato flavor and finishes slightly sweet. The dough is slightly sweet with some nice air pockets. Not too doughy but with just the right amount of weight to hold a slice together.

Service was fast and friendly and accurate. It's been 2 weeks and I've had pizza from these guys 4 times...(we usually only have pizza once a month at the most) already having also tried their wings and onion rings

Pie with 2 toppings $15. Pro tip: Ask for thin crust and pepperoni.

We ordered take out from Gino’s Pizza Cafe. My wife and I used to go there regularly when we lived closer. I tried their linguini and clams and bread. Our order was available when we arrived and was packaged well. We asked for extra bread and they took care of us. The bread is an Italian bread and it’s delicious. It has the perfect outer crust, puffy inside and a chew to it. The linguini and clams was excellent. It was seasoned well with pepper and garlic. The clams tasted fresh and they were cooked properly. No burnt shells. The only thing I could recommend is giving a little more in the portion because we loved it so much. My father enjoyed it as well and he is a tough critic of pasta. We will be grabbing more take out in the future.
