Good Hatch — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Ive only ordered their steak special so far and they have it at a great price of $15 with potatoes and eggs. Their plum lemonade and latte was on point. The steak tastes great every time but..they dont cook it to my liking and by the last bite I’m thinking if only it was cooked they way I ordered it. This is the 4th time I’ve been here and I like my steak cooked medium but it always comes out well done even though I emphasize how i want it done… i was told the concealed heat continues to cook the steak but I’ve ordered a lot of take out and its makes it back home medium so idk. They got it right once and its was amazing but it left me annoyed bc I was picking at my bf plate lol so i wouldn't put them off and encourage to try the rest of their menu. Service-only review: I waited while the employees completed all of the tasks in which they were engaged to ask for a table. I then asked if I should sit anywhere. They said "yes", no other explanation! I then sat myself outside where I didn’t see a server for 10 minutes, then left. Also of note: the many delivery men coming & going. When I worked in a bakery, we always greeted customers immediately, simply saying “I’ll be with you shortly.” I was 9. This place is promising but I do wanna give an honest review here. My breakfast burrito? Bangin, 9/10.

My smoothie? 1/10.

I dunno what happened here but this thing had more chunks of ice floating in it than the arctic circle. I dunno if they were in a rush or just don’t have a legit restaurant caliber blender (lookin at you, Vitamix) but I was chewing this thing.
