So i try to not overreact. I never (1 other time that i can remember In my life) leave negative comments. But.. Every AM I would go to either the Starbucks near me, or this one at broad and Washington ave. I get there Before 6am, as it says HERE THEY OPEN AT 530 AM. So my experience for the last 2 years is the open at 530 and i go there before 6am. Also google says the same thing, and the doors were open with everyone working in there. I get inside... Then CEDAR is this persons name. Not sure if its a male or female, but i think thats the point. Green hair Its 559 am. Yes 559 am, and Cedar says WERE NOT OPEN YOU GOTTA WAIT OUTSIDE TILL 6AM. I SAY ITS 559. THIS PERSON SAYS YEAH WE OPEN AT 6AM. So no argument i go outside, its early so i didn't realize, i come here evwey day b4 6, and ot says they are open at 530. So i go in get my coffee. I ask another guy, why i come in b4 6 all.tge time. Why its says they are open at 530. They said well the web sitw is wrong After like a minute of trying to understand why today, and not yesterday, they are open at 6. Finally the guy says, well because of covid were opening at 6. I said dude, Cedar could have just said that. Cedar acted like i broke into its house and was demanding coffee. It was 559, they open at 6, starting todqy. Bit noone seemed it would be in order to tell me so i understand whats going on, that its cuz of covid. Cedar ans the staff this am are new, if you are not LGBT they will treat you like a piece of trash.
CEDAR is the kind of person, who does everything they can, hormones, dressing, hair, everything to be different, to be who they feel they are inside,. I am 100% in line with that, how someone chooses to play out this life is up to them. But then to hate anyone thats different than you, thats not LGBT, to treat us like we are all evil and were the enemy, is acting how you project onto us, that we are. So because im a big tuff looking alpha male, im the enemy, so you owe me no SMILE or the curtisy of staying inside Starbucks for literally 1 minute befkrw you open late for thw first time. You dont even owe me an explanation of why your kicking me out your store for a minute. Because im a straight white male. If I was a green haired non binaary i guarantee, i would have been treated better. I would have been able to stay in the Starbucks for the minute till.they open. At least. If you can go to another Starbucks, and you are not LGBT, in the am, Definitely do. Because they are the type to spit in your coffee juwt for being white, or straight, or...
Read moreHorrible crowd:( Broad street, South Philadelphia Starbucks.. I thought since sensitivity training there was no rush to judgement, but that's not the case at this Starbucks.. My husband and I took a healthy walk beings were off from work. My husband works in law enforcement which is a strenuous job, so we decided to sit n get something to drink and relax, HOWEVER, we walk In to the Starbucks from Hell, we have a women behind us with her child yanking him by the arm apparently she was worried she drop her dunkin donuts drink (YES SHE WASNT APPARENTLY GONNA PURCHASE ANYTHING) a seat opened up so I sat down my husband being a gentleman asked this mother if she wanted the seat n all hell broke loose!! Her response "NO NO OH NO U SIT THERE I WAS GOING TO SIT THERE BUT NOOOOO", she then yanks the child off to the bathroom where she stays for 10 mins maybe longer it dont matter. Point is she then walks bk next to my table sits down n proceeded to evolve herself in our conversation I tell her that's RUDE N SHE plays the victim n proceeded to tell anyone that would listen I called her rude. The managers way of handling this was to find her a cozy seat in the back with no one knowing what she actually was saying or any knowledge for that matter proceeded to act as if she was a victim as if we wanted to do anything more then PURCHASE drinks n relax. This Starbucks shouldn't get not 1 star I'm highly insulated by staff n manger to think my husband puts his life on the line n to be treated like we did something wrong is upsetting.. SENSITIVITY TRAINING I...
Read moreEDIT: Changing my review from 1 to 5 Stars!! This spot completely did a turn around and has been great for our last few orders. Everything has been correct, and the drinks have been packaged much more safely and carefully! Well done and worth me coming back to change it to a positive review. Impressed!
Last straw was today. I usually order quite frequently through Ubereats. But the last several orders, including today’s, were so terrible I felt that this needs to be brought to the attention of managers or owners of this location. For several orders, they forgot basic instructions for drinks, like put absolutely none of the requested toppings on the drinks, etc. Then a couple weeks ago, they completely forgot one of our drinks. Then today, not only were the 3 venti drinks thrown carelessly into a large bag that wasn’t sealed, but the drinks themselves had no seals or protection on them. I opened my door to get my order and it was soaked through the bottoms of the bag with all 3 drinks toppled over and spilled everywhere. I went to pick up the bag and they all fell through onto my porch. $25 worth of drinks and about an hour wait and I ended up having absolutely nothing. The employees at this location need to find a way to prevent this - drinks for delivery should be wrapped meticulously (if you need some advice or a good example of how to do so please look to Fuel on East Passyunk who wraps their drinks absolutely perfectly) to prevent such massive spills, and also for safety during this pandemic. Disappointed in yet another experience with...
