We went here for the first time about a week ago, as I've lived in this part of the neighborhood for over a year and a half now and have passed by several times and wanted to give it a try. I order eggs sunny side, home fries w/ onion and scrapple, my fiancé ordered french toast with bacon and side of scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious and fresh, kept topping off the coffee which to me shows how attentive they are and the servers and people behind the counter were all friendly, made us feel like one of their own. I've been here several times, hoping it was just an off day but the staff will literally hang out and talk while your coffee cup remains as empty as the place itself. I've even sat at the counter thinking it would help. They are also closed on Sundays, I don't know if that's some old fashioned, "rest on the Sabbath" type stuff, but Sunday morning breakfast is key in this city. I used to think it was a cheap alternative to The Hinge but it's not, their basic breakfast menu is generally the same price and they can't compete with the coffee.
