LUXOR CAFE & HOOKAH LOUNGE — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I'm updating my review and raising it from 4 stars to 5 stars. I completely forgot that I first visited this place over 6 years ago when I was just passing through the area. Since then, I’ve been back multiple times in the past few months. I've only interacted with one of the staff members, and he is incredibly friendly. This is probably the most laid-back shisha spot in Philadelphia. The fact that you can bring your own food (no outside drinks) adds to the charm of the place. Even though the pricing is extremely reasonable, I shouldn’t be coming here as often as I do due to my financial constraints. But I continue to visit because this place allows me to forget about life’s struggles, even if only for a few hours. 🙏

Luxor is always a magnificent time. No alcohol, but you can bring food. They have delicious drinks and the best hookah in the city and outside the city hands down. I've been to almost every one in the burbs, outskirts, and inside. They take pride in the hookah and now with covid they enforce the safety guidelines while still not managing to place a limit on how much time with hookah you have. PLUS, they are inexpensive. The best hookah place in Philadelphia and South Jersey area.
