Mister P Pizza & pasta Italian restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

To make a long story short, I ordered online through their website and was incredibly frustrated with the delivery of my order.

The delivery driver insisted he was at my apartment complex even though I was outside waiting and clearly saw no car around. After confirming that he has my correct address and telling him details about my apartment complex's sign, he says he's going to call the store and figure this out. I then get a call from another individual from the store who tells me the driver is at my address, even after I assure him I'm at my own apartment at the address I provided. He didn't seem to believe me and told me to look for the driver, as if I hadn't been waiting at least 10 minutes by now. He hangs up, leaving an impression that he would deliver this order himself. Five minutes later, I get another call from a different individual at the store who /again/ goes over my address and apartment complex's name. I can also hear in the background the second individual saying that the driver has been next to my apartment sign for 15 minutes, which really frustrated me. This third individual finally asks if the name of my apartment building is "__." I say no, tell them once again what my apartment complex's name is, emphasizing that it's the same name written on the order. Turns out the driver was at the wrong apartment building on a completely different street this whole time because "that's where the GPS said." And when he finally pulled up, he had the nerve to laugh while he apologized. I haven't even gotten a call back since my COLD pizza was dropped off to apologize or reimburse me or anything! So frustrated with the whole experience!! The only reason they get the two stars is because the pizza was actually good. Such a shame because I never want to order...

Around 2015 Mr. P was the best pizza you could get in the area, then they got closed shop and reopened around the corner. I hoped to give them another shot, and that their food would still be amazing, but I was very disappointed. I placed an order online and was met with an error screen. I immediately called the restaurant and was told to call back in 10 minutes, even though I received multiple emails from my credit card that it had been charged by Mr. P. I called back 20 minutes later and was scolded by the person I spoke with, who told me I didn't understand which restaurant I called and to call the correct Mr. P. Mr. P food used to be the best in the area, and so you'd put up with long delivery times and occasional rude service. Now there is no excuse. This was a terrible experience and sadly there...

YOU GUYS THIS IS NO LONGER MR. P'S!! The old Italian guy (Mr. P!) that owns the other locations NO LONGER OWNS OR RUNS THIS. He made the most amazing sauce and food. I knew the quality hasn't been up to snuff for quite awhile and thought maybe he had taken ill. The food is OK but no longer outstanding! The spanish folks that are running it now are super friendly and hard working but they lied about the new 'management' when I asked. I got the truth from staff at another location. Good news is Mr. P is still watching over the other locations if you are craving his recipes! I don't know if it was a straight sale or some franchise arrangement but the food is inferior to Mr. P's and they should not have been given the name unless they could...
