On June 18 (originally said the 20th because that was when the charge cleared), I accidentally placed a mobile order to the wrong Nanus location. I had selected the correct location on my maps but the order was routed elsewhere.
When I went to the other location, the cashier recognized the issue, called the location that received the order, and told me to reorder in person and email customer service for a refund. I followed these instructions and replaced the order, paying a total of $60 for about $20 worth of food since prices were lower when ordering in person.
Before placing the second order, I showed the cashier the email I was sending to customer service to make sure everything was clear.
I have contacted customer service several times over the last two weeks but have not received any response or refund.
As a college student trying to share some local favorites with friends, this was disappointing. The situation may not have been the fault of the location that received the order, but there was communication between the two stores and I was told it would be resolved. I have been a customer for years but this experience makes it difficult to continue supporting the business without...
Read moreExtremely rude staff and terrible service. It took 30 minutes for a single item, and I watched at least 10 people who ordered after me get their food first.
When my friend’s order was completely forgotten, instead of admitting the mistake, they argued and even yelled at her, insisting “it didn’t happen.”
On top of that, they’re unbelievably greedy, charging a full dollar for a tiny cup of sauce. Compared to other hot chicken restaurants in the area, this is ridiculous. Everywhere else, sauce is included and extra is served generously without an additional charge, and the portions are far better. Here, the food quantity is always the bare minimum.
Overall, the combination of rude service, long waits, and anti-customer policies makes this one of the worst hot chicken experiences in the area.
If you want better food and amazing service, go to Asad’s Hot Chicken or Dave’s Hot Chicken instead; both are miles better in quality, portion size, and how they...

After a short 5 minute stroll we arrived, placed our orders and what followed was nothing short of life changing, the service was fantastic, the cashier was so amicable, our food was tender and warm, and even though it was 44° out, the food warmed our hearts so much that we became better men after that night. Thank you Nanu’s Hot Chicken, your service will...
