My children love panda garden, and the food is always fresh and ready to eat.
Panda Garden is a fantastic restaurant that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese food. From the moment you step inside, you'll be impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional Chinese artwork and furnishings, which makes for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.
The menu at Panda Garden is extensive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that will satisfy even the most discerning of palates. Whether you're in the mood for spicy Szechuan chicken, sweet and sour pork, or some tasty vegetarian options, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds.
One of the standout dishes at Panda Garden is the Kung Pao chicken. It's cooked to perfection, with tender chunks of chicken mixed with crunchy peanuts, vegetables, and a savory sauce that's bursting with flavor. The portions are generous, so you won't leave feeling hungry, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
Speaking of service, the staff at Panda Garden are some of the friendliest and most attentive people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable and stress-free, making recommendations and answering any questions you might have about the menu.
Overall, I highly recommend Panda Garden to anyone who is looking for delicious Chinese food in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. Don't miss out on this gem of...
Read moreI greatly appreciate the Chinese cuisine and take out entries at this West Mt Airy restaurant. Some of the other reviewer entries could have involved ordering from them when they were shorthanded or from over a year ago. Repeatedly, I have ordered their vegetable soup which is likely the best in town including center city and Chinatown restaurants that I also enjoy. In this stellar soup, the broth is flavorful but besides such vegetables & ingredients as broccoli, tofu, snow pea, mushrooms, and water chestnuts, uniquely there are also sliced zucchini, carrots and another melon which are sliced in gourmet fashion with a ridged cut giving it an appealing texture and flavor (with all ingredients cooked just right). Recently, on Christmas day, I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables which had a subtle and very flavorful taste along with vegetable sautéed rice (with appealing yellow rice and various vegetables including broccoli, carrot, onion, red pepper and another vegetable, cooked moist and right). Lastly, another sign of a good Chinese restaurant is a solid hot and sour soup & Panda Garden has it (with the right combination of hot, sour and some sweet flavor along with thinly sliced bamboo shoots, carrots, tofu, mushrooms, & other ingredients). Good portions and affordable prices. Very much...
Read moreWent here for the first time and ordered chicken rice soup, BBQ ribs, and General Tso's chicken--3 items I most often get from take-out places. The person taking my order was nice, and ordering and paying was fine. Atmosphere-wise, it's a basic take-out place. They did have several chairs for sitting and waiting, which I appreciated. The soup tssted best to me of the 3 items, but the chicken pieces were weird in shape and texture--really soft, like maybe pulverized chicken powder was remade into chicken bits...? Not great. The BBQ ribs were nice and tender, but super salty and overly charred to the point of parts of them being burnt to inedible. Not a lot of BBQ flavor. The General Tso's had a thick layer of breading, which kept the crunchiness, but overwhelmed the amount of chicken, and the chicken was again a weird texture, as with the soup. The sauce was ok, not very good. The broccoli was a bit rubbery. The white rice that accompanied was fine. The total was around $27 (tip separate.) My stomach felt "off" for 2 days after eating here. I won't...
