Wow, what a gem! I discovered this ice cream shop on a lazy Saturday afternoon while hanging out with my sister. We had nothing fancy to do and opted to get some ice cream. After a brief Google seach I found this establishment amoung many fair options. So we decided to try someplace new and boy were we pleased! When we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by the server/owner, people were cheerfully waiting in line and there was a homey and friendly feeling in the air. The store was clean, bright and inviting. I immediately went to scope out the different ice cream, water ice and coffee offerings. My sister ordered a cookies ice cream cone (not pictured because she ate it too fast) but when it was my turn, I requested a few samples to familiarize my taste buds. I was delighted... banana pudding, peanut butter swirl, blueberry and the classics. From what I learned, they rotate the flavors every 6 days (or 6 weeks). After sampling a few flavors (all of which I love) I was confused on what I should get. So I asked the server/owner to surprise me with whatever he thought I would enjoy. For a control freak like myself, thats BIG! I'm glad I took a chance and trusted the owner because I received the biggest, most boldest, and coldest ice cream Sunday I've ever had in my life! I cant even describe the symphony of flavors that were going on on my mouth (pause). That ice cream Sunday satisfied me in more ways than I would like to admit. It was to beautiful to package and too inviting to wait, so I sat at the counter with my sister and had a fantastic time of nothing and everything. My taste buds did the Cha Cha Slide as the ice cream made its way into my belly. My sister and I talked about current events and laughed at social media clips and somewhere in the mist, this shop became my new favorite spot for a cool treat. I can't wait to go back with more family and friends for sweet, delicious time of togetherness. Go try this vibrant yet quaint ice cream shop. It's a black owned business, which for me is the...
Β Β Β Read moreMy family and I visited this local business for ice cream on a Thursday evening. On our visit, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, the frozen treats were delicious, and the service was outstanding.
The couple running the shop were incredibly patient as our kids debated what flavors to choose and which cone they wanted. They even called out to our youngest when his scoop was about to fall due to his enthusiastic licking. The prices were extremely reasonable for the ice cream and the portion.
We had such a positive experience here that I plan to visit again when we are in the neighborhood. This establishment is an example of what a local business should be. It is more than an ice cream shop and I recommend anyone in the area stop in, say hi, and...
Β Β Β Read moreI had the delightful experience of visiting Scoopful Delights, a charming family-owned Ice Cream Cafe. The cozy atmosphere was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly made ice cream, pop corn, poundcake, and the warmth of friendly staff. Outside, the soulful melodies of a live jazz band named Passage Band filled the air, creating the perfect setting for a leisurely Sunday afternoon treat. The ice cream was a symphony of flavors, smooth and creamy on the palate, leaving a lasting impression of joy and contentment on my face. I look forward to revisiting this cafe soon, but for now, I will savor the memories and relive the experience through this...
