GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! This place does not deserve your business. First time writing a review because that’s how bad it’s under my skin. Here visiting Philly from NY. We all got Philly cheese steaks, cooks were fantastic, so this is not about them at all. The way the place is set up you order on a kiosk in the middle then pay at the front then wait in the back for your food. After we got our food we realized we needed drinks as it’s a weird set up so it made sense we’d pay for them on way out. We were sitting at a table directly infront of the cashier so clearly we didn’t think it was wrong thing to do. As I’m cleaning up the trays the owner comes up accusing us of stealing! I had the empty bottles on our table but regardless we knew what drinks to tell him we had. Infront of other customers and our kids while we are at the register PAYING for said drinks, he continued to shake his head and say this is theft you stole you stole WHILE WE ARE PAYING. Horrible horrible way to treat customers who just spent $100 on cheesesteaks annd had another $40 in drinks and didn’t try to run out of restaurant or even try to leave we were still at our table! When i told him enough you need to stop we are literally at the register paying he refused to stop saying we were stealing. I’ve never in my life encountered an owner who would act like that to PAYING customers. Completely took away from dining experience and put damper on the nice day we were having. I recommend going...
Read moreSo I have tried not to do this and kitchen staff great but today had worst experience ever ..and not first time with cashier place extremely high compared to food in area and my office building orders from here all the time …Asian tall gentleman very aggressive and horrible attitude when it comes to people of color in my opinion never see him treat or speak to other parts in a way I was dealt with today ..had confusion over my order and literally was asking if I could see orig receipt ..I will take in account that I was confused and there was only one receipt and he did have right one ..he proceeds to make scene in front of customers as if he’s talk to a child at which I was ready to walk out I turn around to ask polite young lady in deli if there is another slip and that I thought one he had was incorrect she explains it and I proceed to pay for food (as he now speaks his language to her so I don’t understand and body movements aggressive convenient even tho they both speak English on daily )he then goes to counter in which he is again aggressive cutting me off at which time I say you are still going ..he replies well you where gonna leave right ..and what I do leave cause no way I’m dealing with such behavior and you going to keep going even after situation was fixed me and my coworkers will no longer patronize this place and have also informed are other colleagues in...
Read moreFood was great but the counter person seemed a little ignorant. I accidentally threw away the plastic basket my food was served in. He tried to tell me it wasn’t trash but I’m EXTREMELY hard of hearing. I apologized and he just seemed to get more irritated. Then I tried to tell him to be a little more kind to people because you never know what others are going through. And he just kept saying,”ok” ….”ok”…….”ok”…….. Repeating himself to what he thought may have been an irate customer. Believe me I worked in retail and learned this same strategy. 😉But ended it kindly always. But as I walked homed I realized how bad I felt for him. I remember how hard it was dealing with the public. This was on October 28, 2023 roughly around 2.
